@jdci: I think you have a very good point, but I would say that one issue does not need to replace the other.

Ideally, we would start to see more minorities in games as well, and not only in games like GTA which do tend to reinforce stereotypes (CJ is awesome, but he is not the most original).

We will have to take The Walking Dead and AC 3 for now... while hoping for more!

also, edit since I just saw someone else answered to your post and provided a very interesting insight. But also, don't take it as a criticism of your point, I think they agree with you as well :)

@hassun: yeah, I was actually thinking exactly the same. I mean, rain is new, and patapon 3 was not there, but that is it.

@hunter5024: If you want, you can skip the first one, it is a little rough around the edges now. The second one is a gem though.

Personally, I am going to play DOTA and watch the International. Get my guys at 70 in Diablo 3. Go through a few of the games I bought on the Steam sale...

Nah, I will probably end up not playing much and regret it like crazy. But I have so little holiday time this summer, it is going to be tough to fit the time I wish I could in games.

Favorite Hero/Role: Support (because no one else ever picks them in solo queue). Earth Shaker is a favorite of mine, but Omni, Lich, Disruptor etc... I like supports.

well, we know the Techies are coming either way, a really nice surprise stretch goal would be the Oracle (which is supposed to be the most "almost ready" one after the Techies). If Valve was to release this one like "ok guys, here it is surprise!" that would be great... but we are in HL3 territory in term of credibility here.

If you have PS+, there is a bunch a great titles to dig through there, I would especially recommend Muramasa Rebirth, it is great.

If you want something that was not on PS+, I would say the Borderland 2 port is pretty good, with all that included DLC, and that fills the requirement on Open World. FFX HD is out, talk about a sprawling RPG. Fez is deep and clever, and very cute. Retro City Rampage is a ton of fun. Persona 4 is not open at all, but damn is it excellent. Gravity Rush might be your best bet for the open world 3rd person action combo. It is pretty innovative in its mechanics as well.

Finally, i the nostalgia trip of Ocarina is what you were after, remember that the Vita plays a most PS1 games too! Symphony of the Night is right there, Vagrant Story, and on the PSP, there is also a bunch a pretty great titles you could try.
