" @Fallen189: No i'm not making a joke, I have a screenshot of this. The game just need more content and gameplay. How is anyone suppose to know how much gameplay there is if they are constantly bombarded with cutscenes? It's like no one wants to hear anything negative about mgs4 or something, yet i'm telling you ppl the truth. "
Except you're not, because there's more gameplay than most action games in there already.  I spent over two hours on the first screen experimenting with the game's combat, and I enjoyed it very much. Unless you run around shooting everyone without regard to being caught, you shouldn't be able to beat it in 6 hours. "
You spent 2 hours on the first screen? I take it by first screen you mean, you know, the actual first part where it lets you play. The part where you crawl under a truck and watch some cutscenes, then walk a few feet and get attacked by Gekkos. You spent 2 hours on that part?!

Also, I consider act 3 to be total filler for the most part, so I tend to think of the game length minus act 3. Anybody with me?

I always assumed it was Kojima being Kojima.

Agreed that the game hasn't aged well. Peace Walker is a better game than MGS4, I was severly dissapointed with this game even in 08. Lackluster retcons, terrible new characters, a disjointed and ultimately underwhelming main plot split into pointless acts. I loved that last fight with Ocelot though.

Definitely. But be warned: the difficulty spike is pretty huge. This is nothing like the Mojave wasteland, in fact you'll feel extremely overpowered once you get back there at the end of the dlc.

I throw in with the No Mutants Allowed crowd: Fallout 3 is a poorly written mess compared to New Vegas, and for me that's one of the biggest issues. Simply compare the main quests: Fallout 3 is about turning on a water purifier. New Vegas is about settling a major power dispute between warring factions in order to shape the face of the Mojave. 3 just doesn't stack up with New Vegas.

What's worse is that you don't even have to directly hit a necro with stasis to stop them, you just have to hit near them. I'd be pleased if they simply changed this.

And yeah, if you charge your shot as the 4th necromorph you can get 2 hit kills. This game is just full of exploitable annoyances.

I thought the Marker was using Isaac so it could complete itself, as there was a part of itself in Isaacs brain that it didn't have. That's why you do the needle in the eye. Then it wanted to kill him when he was no longer needed.

I've seen both sides get steam rolled too, but it seems to me like there's no stopping a human team which knows what it's doing. Stasis can also affect more than 1 necro at once, so it's not much use trying to blob against a human team. Overall I enjoy being humans way more. I suck as a necromorph lol.

And I absolutely hate how you have to play 1 game as necromorphs in order to get points. I'd be human every time if I could choose.
