I find it kind of weird seeing how exited people are about this, it's been ages since Interplay has done anything noteworthy at all and I doubt Interplay can support them well enough to get actually good games from them.
I completely agree with you Alex, but I've thankfully never even tried to watch the show. I feel like I know exactly how those awards go and all I need to see (those damn new "EXCLUSIVE REVEALS") on the internet next day. That way I can completely evade endorsing or reminding people that this piece of garbage exists.
I am completely fine with that. There are so many big games out now that and so little left of the year that it would be utter madness to release it now. Plus, if they can use the time to polish the f*** out of it in the mean time than that's even better.

That's a solid free kick, but it's hard to give it any credibility to FIFA 12 replays when they all say the difficulty is set to amateur (even when playing on other difficulties/online)
Oh wow, that's a really dumb bug. And here I was so proud of myself for nailing that on professional. Maybe I should have recorded Robben's goal, which was almost the exact same goal, right down to where the freekick was taken.
One other thing that I would like to add is that you shouldn't charge at the opponent when they have the ball like you would usually do in the older games. You can easily grind most attacks to a halt if you just hold your ground and use the contain button to close down space he could run to and also any other player in a good position he could pass to. You also don't have to use any buttons to take the ball away from the opponent, good positioning is much more important that when you pound the buttons.
I am no master of tactical defending but I have drastically reduced the number of errors I've made (and goals I've received) since the demo just by following these tips. Also if you knock down the difficulty by one peg while you get your bearings you could have an easier time grasping the basics of the system. I just put it up to Professional again today and I've been doing fine so far.
The dead simple and easy to use replay editor that EA has made is one of my favourite feature of the EA sport games, especially how easy it is for others to see the goals/plays/total bullshit people have experienced with these games.
So I though I would make a thread where we could show videos from the game that either we, or someone else, have uploaded.
