A list of pages that are either filled out really well or are so weird that it's amazing that they actually exist.

They're not always the best games. They're just my favorite for one reason or another. This list isn't in any particular order and I'm going to go for the more obscure stuff first, since no one needs to see a list that says "OH MAN SUPER MARIO WORLD

The mid-1990s were a pretty special time in gaming. The PlayStation was everywhere, and mod chips were becoming common. This opened me up to a world of crazy-ass import games. Since I happened to have something of a budget that I could put toward acq

Different people with different upbringings in different eras mean that everyone's going to have a different answer to the question. For the record, when people ask me, I usually say Tetris. It's certainly not my favorite game of all-time, but if yo

If I needed to start a world-class force of fighters--you know, men and women who needed to be on-call at all times, ready to fight terror wherever it may rear its nefarious head--these would be the guys at the top of my list.

I should note that I mean licensed in the traditional sense of taking characters or stories from other mediums and bringing them to games. I don't mean sports games like Madden or Tony Hawk, even though both are technically licensed products.

Or, if you want to be all technical about it, "guilty pleasures." And yeah, "bad" is probably a strong term. Some of these games are merely middling. But at some point I don't want a huge title for the list.

This is mostly here to motivate me to add more pinball machines to the database.

These are the sorts of games that, if they were to come up while arguing with someone who didn't like games, you'd just have to shrug your shoulders and say "yeah, well... yeah."

While reviewing games certainly has its challenges, comparing two games that have next to nothing in common is actually much harder. These apples-to-oranges moments forced me to really consider things like "is a weird portable rhythm game better or w

Pretty simple, really. This is a list of all of the music or game noises I've used as ringtones or as incoming SMS noises.

Here are the games I think would work terrifically with Game Room's leaderboard and challenge features.

Jeff: E3 2010 Most Anticipated Games

With all due respect to Tekken, of course.

I'm usually fairly down on iPhone games, but I wanted to have a way to point out games that I've found on the iPhone and iPad that are actually worth checking out. Hence this list, which I'll add to sporadically.

Jeff: E3 2011 Most Anticipated Games

The games that stood out to me the most during E3 2012.

So I'm trying to keep track on the TG16/PC Engine games I own to prevent myself from screwing up and buying a game I already have. OK?HARDWARE(2) TurboGrafx-16 Base Units(1) Turbo CD Attachment(2) TG16 controllers(1) TG16 TurboTapADDITIONAL SOFTWAREC

My top 10 for 2012!

C'mon, look at that face!

Playing these now!

One of the (relative) downsides of covering games for a living is only having a finite amount of time to play games, and often having to play a bunch of games you'd rather not mess with. A consequence of this responsibility is lacking the time to pla

Basically a list of all the games I have beaten in my life. I know it looks short, but that is due to the site not listing a few obscure games and because they don't register multiple versions of a game, instead preferring to umbrella them all into o

Listen, I don't have a lot of time before that king bloke gets back, so I'll have to do this quick. Bushwald Sexyface here, and I thought I'd remind you gents how sexy your hobby is. In fact, I've selected several things about it which excel in the a

I don't get a lot of recommendations for games to do, but when I do, it seems that people REALLY want me to play this game. These are the games people won't shut up about. Hell, I'll even list the people who keep pushing the games on me :P. I'll add

I'm one of those wiki editors who mostly does two things: I'll either just make minor edits or add pages that aren't on the site. Here's proof of the second one.

I think the title explained everything I need to explain: I want to make these pages, but can't. Maybe it'd be deleted immediately, or get a long thread in Delete/Combine ending with mraccoon deleting it, or hell, there may be no basis for these page

Seems that Zombie Pie has a tradition of comparing me to a morally reprehensible/incompetent/infamous/etc. government official in each Community Spotlight. It's a proud tradition that dates all the way back to June 9th, 2011. Rather than take issue w

Well, I just put up my latest review, so I thought I'd make a list of the soundtracks I listen to whilst writing these reviews. And as an added bonus, I'll include a link to a song from each soundtrack. (It won't be my favorite song from each game, b

I'm pretty sure making this list will kill any future chances of getting free games. So why am I doing this? Because LOOK AT HOW MANY GAMES PEOPLE HAVE SIMPLY GIVEN ME FOR NO REASON! But first, a few rules: No games that are distributed for free. I'm

The inspiration for this list: basically, Mento made this exact same list for his party, and since we were in competition with our Elemental Evil blogs (let's just say that the underdog comment will prove more true than he could ever imagine), I figu

Bet you didn't know this: those strange symbols that appear on your sword in Xenoblade Chronicles? They have a name: kanji. (Although I imagine they could also be hanzi, given how kanji were formed, but for now, I'll proceed on the assumption that th

Well, this was certainly a surprise. Halfway through The Last Story, kanji starts popping up out of absolutely nowhere. Does this mean that Pandora's Tower will get its kanji on, too? (I hope not, as I've exhausted reasonable languages into which I t

Come on. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. It's in every game ever: something happens that makes a character say "[NAME]...". It can express a wide variety of emotions, from concern to contempt to clunky writing, because this usua
