For some reason, I got put on a PlayStation Network press release mailing list a few months back. I finally decided to do something with these and begin posting them here and on Anime Vice, depending on the content. The ones before this have been mainly about anime on PSN (since I write an anime blog) but since the "media bulletin" from this morning was generically about movies & TV shows on PSN, I chose Giant Bomb for this one.
 
 Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) today announced the addition of a variety of entertainment offerings from Lucasfilm Ltd., Cinetic FilmBuff, ContentFilm International, Image Entertainment, Inc., MPI Media Group and New Video to the PlayStation®Network video delivery service. The content, which will be made available on November 2, 2009 for purchase or rent, further enhances the video delivery service’s already robust library of downloadable entertainment content, including new and favorite movies, television shows, sports, anime, original entertainment, and more. 
The new content partners will provide a broad range of video entertainment, including Lucasfilm Ltd.’s Star Wars™: The Clone Wars; seasons 1 and 2 of the popular TNT series Leverage (Cinetic FilmBuff); Image Entertainment, Inc. feature films such as Powder Blue and Management; the horror classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre from MPI Media Group; Hurly Burly and Interstate 60 from ContentFilm International; and the online miniseries Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog from New Video. Additional entertainment content will be added over time.
