I don't really know why so many people think this is an "emo" lyric.  I mean yeah, I understand why it comes across that way initially, but I see it more as someone being hopeful and optimistic that they still feel enough to give a shit, even though they might be down on themselves or feel like shit, as he described.

I think an "emo" lyric would be more something like "I feel like shit, I just want to die".  Bad example, but yeah, lol.

It's good to see some people agree that this was a great album, cause I've read a LOT of bitching about it which gets kind of annoying after a while.  Everyone is of course, allowed to have their own opinion.

Kind of surprised someone necro'd this thread though :P

Yes, this is official art.  Unfortunately that is not actually Isaac, Garet, and Mia, apparently these characters are descendants of the original cast... obviously the main character is Isaac's son, and the other guy definitely looks like the son of Garet.  I'm actually a little mixed on these not being the same characters because they look so similar, but there are some differences which confirm it is not them.  For example, the eye colours do not match those of the original cast... Garet had brown eyes, and Mia had teal eyes, so those are not them, unfortunately.

I know.  I didn't even watch the Nintendo press conference (I watched the Microsoft and Sony ones) but this honestly trumps everything else from E3 for me... this is without a doubt best news of 2009 so far in my books.

It's different though.  I don't consider someone using a strategy against me that I can't beat a cheese strategy.  It's hard to describe exactly what I mean, but I'm not sure if that's what you were implying by what I meant as a cheese strategy.
