@RadioactiveGazz: I just played through the first episode on 360...it was intense to say the least. The lack of inverted controls hurts (I died a few times just from the fumbling) but the first episode is free until the end of the year and the other four are 200 M$ points/~$2.50 each until Saturday. Dunno that you can beat that price. Sale is technically supposed to start tomorrow but is live now BTW.

Fallout 3. I did not pick up a 360 until earlier this year, and that was my first AAA title on it (GOTY edition). I still remember the extreme waves of stress and loneliness that came over me upon leaving the vault. The first several dozen hours were so intense.

And YES I FETCHED ALL THOSE STUPID INGOTS.

I don't have the first idea how you would handle the donation side of things, but I'd be happy to play for a good cause. Would it be worth contacting Gearbox for logistical or even simply promotional support?

I take it the nerfing changes the stats of both new (from time of patch) and existing shields? Ugh.

I have a borderline embarrassing number of hours in the game (400+) and one of every class, two lvl 50s. I've seen it all in Pandora now. There is definitely a point in BL2 at which play brings diminishing returns, whether it's having to face the same boring, predictable mobs to go from point A to point B, opening yet another chest full of whites and greens, farming endlessly for the more interesting gear and none drops (or one does and then it shoots into the lava or off the map). The Bee + CC and Bee + Lascaux combos were helping to hold my interest in the repetitive endgame and really made the rote parts fun again.

Time for a new adventure, I guess.

Way to go America! Way to overcome the barrage of lies, dark money, and overt disenfranchisement efforts and re-elect the better man for the job. Plus we elected some wonderful women to the Senate and made progressive choices in several states. Yay.

It's alluring in a creepy, OCD way, but the damned game keeps resetting my stats every time I launch it (when I can get it to run at all).

Also, fun with tap-drawing (probably NSFW) http://onthecube.tumblr.com/

@RiteHandLuv: I'm one of the people CatsAkimbo mentioned... :) After having to replay about eight hours of end-game yesterday because of the maddening Talon of God glitch, my Siren is finally at level 50 and so I've started picking up her side quests. My GT is knitlife, feel free to add, to my own disbelief I still cannot get enough of this game.

I farmed the Warrior at least 30 times after finishing TVHM and it dropped one orange grenade mod the first time and an underpowered Volcano sniper about twenty kills in. Put together a decent Gunzerker setup from those runs (basically two purple Bandit shotguns, transfusion slag grenade mods, and a cooldown relic), but no other oranges and still no decent fire SMG since about level 35.

For a few hours I found a calm, perverse pleasure in farming after the "end" of the game, but eventually the return just didn't seem worth the time. The drop rates were uniformly terrible throughout TVHM, even worse when soloing. Nothing but whites in non-treasure chests. I've only played ~15 hours of BL1 (5 of those before BL2 dropped) and the drop rates were so much better in comparison (orange in vending machines, whut). What are these games about? Shoot, and loot. Need more loot. Tweak the darn drop ratios, Gearbox.
