I got Godfall free with my 5700xt I bought for my new PC.
I've only played the first mission (which takes like an hour for some reason), but idk, seems pretty fun to me. I'm looking forward to playing more, at least. That said, it does not seem like it'd be worth anywhere near the full $60 or 70 they're charging. But the combat feels good and the loot has been interesting so far. I'd recommend people keep an eye out for it when it drops to, like, $20 (which probably won't take long).
Very happy to see a new Ratchet game coming, but other than that...eh? Horizon 2 looked great, but I still need to get around to the first. The rest were multiplatform (can't wait for Hitman 3...on PC), looked fun to check out one day but not a big draw, or just plain were not interesting.
And the console itself (and controller, just the general design style they're going with) is ugly. I do not want to display it on my shelf. I'll inevitably have both a PS5 and Series X, so maybe I'll position the PS5 behind the X so I don't have to look at it.
This is great, even with (or because of?!?) the shameful Uno play. (I could really do without Abby constantly cycling back and forth through her cards, though...)
Does it seem weird how hard Alex went for Judgement? From what I remember from the Beastcast it took him forever to beat it and he wasn’t exactly gushing about it when he finally did. Unless I’m misremembering
You are misremembering. I remember him talking about how much he loved it, and it took him forever because he made sure to do everything in the game before seeing the ending, because he loved it so much. I may be misremembering this, but I feel like he even said something to the effect of "this may be my GotY" at one point.
