" publishers dont allow game reviews early unless they meet a specific requirement, usually have to be 90+% and compltely praising the game/hyping it , especially for magazines "
What complete and utter balls. It couldn't be that the game is actually good...no...that would make sense. "
dude its common knowledge, they do not allow negative reviews prior to release date, it kills sale numbers ,
publishers dont allow game reviews early unless they meet a specific requirement, usually have to be 90+% and compltely praising the game/hyping it , especially for magazines
retail copy > steam version anyday steam is nothing but overglorified drm, it is the epitome of everything wrong with the PC userbase currently, you are treated secondary to consoles, you worship a DRM platform and digital distribution because you think going to a retail store to buy a game is harder and more time consuming than downloading 100+ gigs worth of games, not to mention its basically used to turn your PC into just a super expensive console
so basically its just a bunch of people just lazy or unable to stop at the store on the way back from work.
i preorder full price, so i can walk in , show my id, walk out with game in hand , waiting on the mailman is the worst experience, then finding out your game wont arrive until after the 3 day weekend because they didnt put it on the truck on time,
go through the videos , they were showing actual gameplay and letting people play it during i think Pax or E3, and it wasnt good. It basically looked like killzone 2, objective based shooter, spamfest of grenades and rockets, and little actual shooting situations, like the objectives was at this one chokepoint, and all the enemy team was shown doing was spamming grenades/rockets endlessly at the spot
ive been following this game like 2-3 years now, was pretty hyped for it initially
