Game Collection
A list of all the games I own. For some reason the Collection tab was not working so I made this a custom list.
A list of all the games I own. For some reason the Collection tab was not working so I made this a custom list.
Failed getting a working copy of the SNES version, couldn't stand the load times in the Playstation version, so here is another copy. Third times the charm?
Had the first one, why not the second?
Bought this largely for points but its legitimately pretty good.
Hate this game, came with my NES.
Personally think this game is incredibly overrated but I did kind of enjoy it. Multiplayer was terrible though.
Yeah, I have this horrible NES game apparently. I know I didn't seek it out and buy it so it must have also come in that six dollar box at that garage sale. Yay.
First one seemed clunky but neat and apparently much of that has been resolved so I'll give this a shot.
Surprisingly decent golf game. Apparently the concept of Mario and friends playing golf existed long before the N64.
Bought this because I rather enjoyed Battlemaniacs for the SNES. Haven't played it yet though.
Bought this rather recently because apparently its a really important sports game.
Not sure why I have this.
Beat this on the hardest difficulty for points and they don't even stack! There is no way I'm beating this three more times so I pretty much hate it now.
Have really fond memories of this game. I made sure to buy it when I stumbled on it due to that and the fact God of War creator David Jaffe worked on it.
Paid sixty bucks for it on eBay and barely played it.
Was purchased as part of an eBay frenzy. Decent game but never really played it all that much.
Cousin game me this as a birthday present and I am very grateful. Excellent game with some classic moments.
Actually really like this game. The goalie can totally be glitched to guarantee a goal every time.
Been meaning to fully dive into this game for awhile now but haven't gotten around to it.
First is arguably still the best.
Actually really liked this game, largely due to the top-notch voice acting.
Really great compilation, came with my SNES back in the day.
Another Tim Schafer classic.
Probably my favorite beat-em-up ever made largely due to the amazingly memorable soundtrack.
Truly excellent game, played through it again maybe six months ago and a lot of it still holds up.
I fully intend to play through this sometime but its hard to go back to the days before excellently delivered voice acting.
Actually beat it on the GBA but felt I had to own the original cartridge.
Silly but fun beat-em-up. Gets mad hard though.
Another game I won "On the Spot". In my mind Giant Bomb is the spiritual successor to that once great website.
Contender for best Mario game, alongside Mario Bros 3. Lot of great mechanics and really replayable, even today.
Really stylish and fun shooter. Pity the movie adaptation was GARBAGE.
Never beat it as chasing pirates around from port to port got kind of tiring. Like a lot of things about it though.
It was FOUR DOLLARS!!!!
Didn't really get into this game. Still, its nice that it had free online.
Got into this years late and even then not for very long. Made it to level 39 I believe and then dropped it. Picked it up again briefly for a couple weeks months later, got to 15 or so as a minotaur and then dropped it again. Just isn't my bag.
Best ten dollars I ever spent. Well, maybe not but its close.
Best deal ever.
Really like a lot about this game. Glad I bought it.
Cheesy side-scrolling Half-Life. Its a free download on Steam which I got in the weeks leading up to Half-Life 2's release.
One of my favorites of all time.
Some of the easiest achievement points out there. Also probably the best Adver-game thus far.
Extremely disappointed with this game. Never did beat it.
Not sure what all this "1.6" crap is about, this is the best version of CS and the only one I played really extensively for awhile.
Got really frustrating, never beat it but I enjoyed it for the most part.
Bought it for points.
Used to listen to the "Hotspot" while playing this.
As GTA clones go, very good. Way better than The Godfather game which was set in the same basic era.
My favorite of the Burger King trilogy.
Really great game, still kind of holds up despite looking very dated.
One of the better GTA clones.
Basically unplayable.
Concept was so awesome, I couldn't resist.
I so wanted to enjoy this game but my PC just wasn't up to the challenge. Looking forward to that 360 remake though.
Decent little expansion. Appreciated the high-definition pack for the previous games more than the game itself though.
Still not convinced this is the next big thing for video-games, but the stuff they let you build IS pretty neat.
Love that this is now on Steam. Keep 'em comin' Lucas!
Continues to prove I'm really bad at fighting games.
Seems neat initially but I found it got dumb pretty fast. Guess that depends more on who you are playing with but the idea just seems kind of silly.
Got this with a collection of Valve games. Never played it much and not really a fan of the sequel either.
Was free so of course I got it. Pretty fun actually but I'm not that good at it.
Controls for this are really bad on the Wii.
Found this discounted already so decided to pick it up.
Perhaps my favorite of the GTA III trilogy.
Excellent game, though kind of short given its long development cycle. Whatever, this game made physics awesome.
Surprised this is even here cause its not really a game, just a free level to show off HDR lighting. Whatever, I do have it.
The one RTS I got into for awhile.
Played this a great deal back in the day and still insist its the best Animal Crossing because it has NES games to collect within the game. Thats what made it all worthwhile and the DS version cut that out so I didn't play it near as much.
Finally found a used copy of this. Regret not buying it back when it came out but at least I have it now.
Yeah, this game wasn't good at all. But it said Star Wars on it so I bought it.
It was nine dollars. So yeah, picked it up but haven't played it yet.
Part of a Lucasarts collection but this game hasn't really aged well so didn't play it much.
Pretty good game that didn't sell well and has been made a martyr of sorts. Its good, but its not amazing.
Bought this due to Ryan Davis' review. Personally, didn't really like it.
Really liked this game back in the day.
Deja vu. Didn't I already play this game when it was called "Melee"?
First Wii game I was actually pleased with.
Played the Max Payne's a bunch and wanted to shoot dudes in slow-motion some more. This is nowhere near as good but I still played through it for some reason.
Fun horror game with a Canadian protagonist (well, one amongst the many protagonists but its still pretty neat). One of the most unique Gamecube games.
Haven't completely lost interest yet but I'm getting there. Only really serves as a reminder of how unfit I am which makes me feel bad so its not really fun to play.
Cousin LOVES this game so I got it mainly to play against him via Battlenet. I'm just not good at RTS games.
Pretty lame RPG but I only had a Gamecube at the time so I went ahead and bought it.
Actually ended up playing this quite a bit until I got to this annoying underwater temple area swarming with sharks. Checkpoints were pretty bad so if you die you have to start this massive fetch quest over and I really lost interest after that.
Kind of dissatisfied with how this game wraps things up but I like a lot about it. Ocelot deserved more though.
PC version is different then the console ones and much, much worse.
Don't even like soccer but it was so cheap!
Same cousin that loves Starcraft loves this game so thats why I have it. Again, not an RTS fan. Wookies are awesome though.
First PS3 game I bought (after owning it for better part of a year). Just a fun, goofy karaoke game though "Lips" looks far superior in that extra music is free.
One of the best Star Wars games ever made.
Big fan of Godzilla movies and this game has some good qualities but its not all I hoped for.
Only Hitman I played through to the end. Rather enjoyed it.
Prefer this one to the original.
Oh Suda 51. Whatever you do, just stay crazy.
It was free so of course I got it.
Really glad this came to XBLA or I may never have gotten to play it.
Okay, I admire a lot about this game but they really need to shorten up some of the dialogue bits. It got so boring about halfway I never did finish it.
Kind of interesting WWII shooter but my PC made it look just crappy enough that it wasn't really enjoyable. Probably won't go back to finish it.
XBLA version, which apparently wasn't downloaded by many.
Got it for free, barely played it at all.
Never actually finished it, which is shocking for a Zelda title. Seemed really uninspired and just a rehash of Ocarina. Probably my least favorite Zelda game.
Bought the XBLA version when word came out that it was in danger of being removed from the service.
This game is HARD.
Won this game due to an episode of On the Spot. Came with a note signed by Rich Gallup himself, which was infinitely better then this uninspired sci-fi shooter with bored David Duchovney talking all the time.
Own the XBLA version.
Another adventure game I admire but never finished.
Excellent reworking of a classic.
Actually the only version of the original Metal Gear Solid I've played. Really liked it though.
Bought this cause a friend had it and it supported online co-op. Very bland, generic World War II first person shooter though and there are more than enough of those.
XBLA version.
XBLA version.
Excellent sequel to an excellent game. One of the best on Gamecube.
Bought XBLA version when it was threatened to be lost forever.
Terrible game for use with the Xbox Live Vision camera. Worst controls ever.
Wow, this game is a mess. Good thing it was free.
Excellent game and thanks to Wii Virtual Console it was only eight dollars! Knew I bought that stupid machine for a reason.
On sale on Steam for FIVE dollars. How could I not get that?
Excellent game, wish my copy had an instruction booklet though.
Link is so dang cheap.
Cool music game, was onboard the Harmonix train well before the Guitar Hero explosion.
Last Rare game on a Nintendo platform.
Well, loved Persona 4 and this one has a plushie packaged with it so I couldn't say no.
Fun game but I found it really challenging. Never beat it.
Finally got this and guess what, its awesome. Probably going to pick up the Fury pack as well.
Second game I have ever imported, the first was Rhythm Tengoku.
Okay compilation of some old Capcom games. Loading screens in Street Fighter 2 really suck though.
Pretty mediocre top down shooter, kind of obscure though so I'm glad I have it.
Decent PS2 shooter.
First Warioware I played and I love it even though its just a remake of a GBA game.
Probably my favorite Contra game, not many seem to like it much though.
Sister actually bought this one, but when I moved I took the PS2 with me so I kind of annexed it. Feel kind of bad about it.
First PS2 game I ever bought, was really disappointed in it though. Never played it much past the ten hour mark.
Improvement on the original but pales compared to Zelda and other games. Randomly generated dungeons just aren't very fun.
Better than the first.
Pretty cutscenes, lame gameplay.
Never beat it but I did enjoy it for awhile. Just to long, difficult and without a very good story.
Best football game ever made and the only one I played really extensively. Brought the Detroit Lions a couple super-bowls.
I kind of lost a lot of interest in the series after this game. Maybe it was the voice acting, maybe the uninteresting story but something just didn't seem right.
Bought it, never played it.
Bought it really cheap because I felt obligated to. Have yet to play it.
One of the games that prompted me to buy a DS.
It says Metal Gear on it so I bought it. Have no interest in the card based gameplay though so got if for completions sake.
Glad I finally found this game years after I played Amplitude. Love the original television commercial for this game. Its mad hard though.
Barely even a game, and really quite shallow and pointless. Your dog can never die or get sick or anything. I haven't fed them in years and they are fine.
Searched everywhere for this game and eventually gave up. Then one day there were a bunch in bargain bin for twenty dollars. Weird.
Was really excited for this but it didn't really grab me for some reason. I'll give it another try sometime.
Really nice space shooter, never beat it obviously cause these games are maddeningly difficult. Got to this asteroid field level and that was the end of me.
Love this game's absurdity.
Want to support Atari and Ghostbusters and here this is basically a boatload of nostalgia. SOLD!
Used to love this game but going back to play it again, wow its ugly to look at.
Proud to say I was one of the early adopters of the Guitar Hero phenomena. Moved on to the worthy successor of Rock Band though.
PS2 version, I just couldn't wait.
I felt the story ended incredibly poorly but I love the way this game plays and wish they'd hurry up and make Heavy Rain already.
Dude, that indie game bundle could not be denied. THE SAVINGS WERE TO POWERFUL!!
Missed this one initially but went back and played it after Jak II and its a remarkably solid 3-D platformer.
Heard its really challenging but I really like the idea of a new "old" Mega Man. And I only ever really got into Mega Man 2.
Really good sci-fi plat-former. Surprised how fun it was actually.
I thought this wrapped up the series quite nicely.
LOVE this game, best soundtrack ever. Sequels are good too but the original is still the best.
Picked this up at PAX after hearing the Telltale guys at a panel concerning SBCG4AP. They were cool guys and I've been meaning to play this for awhile so I bought it from them direct. Oddly, mine doesn't have an ESRB rating posted on it anywhere.
Fan service to the max but I still liked it. Sequel wasn't as good though.
Have PSP and PS2 version. Fun game but I'm not that good at it.
Collection of demented mini-games that are strangely amusing while not being fun to play. Its hard to explain but I like this game a lot.
Bought these as a collection, which isn't in the database for some reason.
Got some weird World Series edition or something, didn't really like it. Not sure why I even bought it as I don't really like baseball as much as I used to.
Own it, haven't played it.
Bought these as a collection, which isn't in the database for some reason.
Maddeningly hard, never did beat it.
It was free, and there is a reason it is free.
Was incorrectly discounted at a store so I bought two copies. Was pretty stoked.
Bought these as a collection, which isn't in the database for some reason.
Never actually played this one, it was cheap and I heard it was good so thats how this happened.
Bought these as a collection, which isn't in the database for some reason.
Played it again recently and its still excellent. All the complaints about Raiden don't detract from this game.
Bought this largely for Chrono Trigger but the loading screens and whatnot pretty much ruin this game so I'll wait for the DS port before I really sink my teeth into it.
Bought these as a collection, which isn't in the database for some reason.
Yeah, bought this version as well.
After the Quicklook I had to experience this for myself. Not the first time I've paid way to much for something on eBay.
Amazing game in terms of story and whatnot but I prefer Subsistence's take on it.
Best game in the series, and you shut up about MGS 4. Way better boss battles and story then the other games in the series, and I refuse to hear arguments to the contrary.
Yeah, like many others this was the game that got me interested in RPGs for a time.
The definition of awesome.
Kind of panicked and bought this at an inflated price on Amazon when I heard it was no longer available.
Fun and I'm really looking forward to the sequel.
Never did beat this game. Gunblades are an awesome idea though.
Thought this would be the hockey equivalent of the masterful NFL 2K5. It wasn't.
Sad to say I never did beat this game. Really liked it from a visual standpoint though.
Have two copies now due to my losing one, replacing it and then finding the first one.
Only Onimusha I played, you want to know why? Jean Reno, thats why.
Fun and violent psychic action game. Annoying glitch in the PS2 version though, as I recall. When you fight that german fire girl?
Own two copies of this game, one autographed by Tim Schafer himself! Really excellent game and really looking to Double Fine's future projects.
The Xbox 360 can't play this game which really makes me sad. I had an Evil Dead marathon last year and wanted to cap it off by playing the games but it didn't even work. Maybe someday they'll release another update and it will work.
Stumbled on this and had to buy it. Never played it much though.
Actually never played my copy but got it absurdly cheap and figured it was something one must own.
Didn't buy this for the longest time but as soon as Greatest Hits pricing was in effect, BAM.
Decided to give this series a shot years after the fact and guess what, its actually really good. Who knew?
First N64 game I bought, paid about 100 canadian for it to. In retrospect, not that good of a game but I played it a lot.
Beat this one and then was pretty much done with the Ratchet franchise. They are great and all but bring new meaning to the term deja vu.
Pretty fun shooter. Kind of ugly by today's standards but has kind of a Half-Life quality to it.
Bought this through Steam just to see what all the fuss was about.
After this game's battle to be released in the wake of the Akklaim collapse I felt I had to buy it. Its good but I never did play it to much as I had my next-gen systems and whatnot. Still, its to bad this game got delayed so long.
Bought this used and got the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo disc instead of the Devil May Cry one. Weird eh?
First M rated game I ever purchased.
Heard the legends about this game and tracked it down on eBay. Really amazing, wish there were more games like it. XBLA version is the way to go though but I'm glad I have both.
This game was really cheap so I bought it but it was a reasonably okay game. Kind of suffered due to being released at the same time as Psi Ops. Definitely prefer that game but this had its moments.
One of my favorite PS2 games. Can't wait to hear what this development team is doing next.
Bought this game solely due to the review of one Greg Kasavin and actually rather enjoyed it. Ridiculously violent but a fun action game.
Yeah, bought this game in an attempt to get into the Silent Hill series but didn't find it that interesting and never finished it.
Best game thus far for the Nintendo Wii. And yeah, I played all those games you are thinking of to counter that claim.
Really like this game and not sure why everyone thinks its a low point in the series. Had time travel and a villain that WASN'T Ganon. Wish they'd try to change up the formula again like they did here.
Are there really people out there who love this game?
Finally found some cheap copies of this at a backwoods EB Games. AWESOMENESS
Virtual Arcade version.
Found a cheap copy and was super happy.
Been meaning to buy this for awhile but didn't for some foolish reason. Then I noticed it was already discounted to about 25 dollars and I felt bad for Majesco and decided to finally pick it up. It was a pity purchase.
Had to help out Midway and its a pretty awesome game on top of that. Hopefully I'll end up playing it more than the other half dozen fighting games I have lying around.
Why did I buy this after barely playing Silent Hill 3? It was five bucks, thats why.
Yeah, this game is a Crazy Taxi clone, but I still enjoyed it more than that game. Actually rented it for Gamecube, beat it, bought it for PS2 and beat it again. Not sure why now that I think about it.
Virtual Arcade version. Honestly don't see what makes this a great game.
No idea why I bought this. I knew it was bad but it was so cheap! Never played it much.
Virtual Arcade version.
Got my PS2 online for Metal Gear Solid 3 and decided I should buy some other online games to warrant the effort. Never got that working however due to some stupid credit card authorization crap for this game. Its free but they still have to know your credit card number? Forget it, I'll just play Counter Strike.
This game contains awesomeness but unfortunately there are some terrible mechanics in there that limit the fun. In particular, the camera is perhaps the worst I've seen in a game for a long time.
Really lame soundtrack hurts this game. It basically reuses a bunch of tracks from previous games and even then not that many. Really disappointing in that regard.
Yeah, Root Beer Tapper. Gets mad crazy. Own the XBLA version.
Hurray for Virtual Console finally getting a game worth playing.
Man, Jinpachi is one cheap end guy. Still, this a pretty awesome fighting game, really nice cut-scenes and you can put an eye-patch on Heihachi.
Worst of the epic Burger King trilogy.
Deep complex fighting game and I kind of suck at fighting games. Still, I admire this game in a lot of ways, I'm just not good at it.
Pretty good sequel but felt the soundtrack was far superior in the original.
Honestly never played it but I felt I should own it while I was going through my RPG phase. Still, I heard the cutscenes were absurdly long and the game was 80 hours or something so I never got around to it.
Okay PSP version of Katamari. No where near as good as its PS2 forefathers but it still had a good soundtrack and some of what the original awesome.
Played this one a fair bit but never beat it. I admit, Hideo Kojima is pretty much the sole reason I bought this game.
Two games, one cart. Yay.
I heartily endorse this game. Enjoyed the original but this one improves upon it.
Not sure how I got this, think it came with a NES I bought at a garage sale. Pretty unremarkable war game.
Apparently the awesome music is in the Gameboy one. Still, fun and important puzzle game.
Came with my NES and yeah, Ryan Davis speaks the truth, this game isn't very good at all.
Okay, bought this due to a legendary video that was once on Gamespot by a user known as Masumi who loathed this game. He took the videos down so sadly they no longer exist but they were really quite outstanding and I had to experience it for myself so I bought it on eBay.
Possibly still my favorite Xbox 360 game. I just love the concept so much I am willing to overlook its minor flaws. Eagerly awaiting the announcement of the inevitable sequel.
The unofficial Metal Gear that has nothing to do with Hideo Kojima at all. Found it in a bin at an EB so I bought it.
The achievements are really poorly implemented but there is still something awesome about shooting giant ants so I had to pick it up.
Paid 40.00 for this used but its impossible to find now. May not be worth it but its been a bit of a unicorn so I'm glad I found it.
Been keeping an eye on this one for awhile, despite hating the demo. Finally found it for 10 dollars so I picked it up. We shall see.
Sadly not the Atari version I once had which was amazing. My mother threw that out along with a bunch of other awesome stuff. Got the NES version years later but its only a hollow imitation of the game I love.
In retrospect, should not have bought this.
Played a bit of this and thought it was alright but found it at below stupid prices so I couldn't resist.
The last level in this is amazing. Another example of games as art.
Yeah, had to buy it for those sweet, sweet Sept 17th points.
Ten bucks on Steam, keep hearing awesome things.
Yeah...wanted some more achievements and it was only four bucks.
I'm a sucker for music-creation software and the price was right.
