That's too bad, they seemed to just be hitting their stride.  It's a real shame that they were buried by their publishers.

Hopefully the head guys can get a decent studio or two up and running, and maybe find a publisher that isn't a complete flake.

My favourite is "If Footmen Tire You, What Will Horses Do?", a movie made during the Cold War about how Communism will kill American Christian values.

I think it's hard for anyone to take a movie with Ron Jeremy in it seriously...

I think Alfonso Cuaron (the guy who did "Children of Men" and "that one Harry Potter movie that was actually pretty good") would do a great job of this. He's excellent with portraying fantasy as reality, can make something strong with little dialogue, and has a really inspired approach to filmmaking.

What makes Mexicans such good directors, anyway?

But yeah, I agree that in this case, it's a game that's best left to being a game. It's inevitable that to get it OKed for production a lot of dialogue and a much more direct story will have to be injected into the script. If we're lucky, though, it will be done through narration.

They get me somewhere in 2 hours that would take me 2 days in a  car (accounting for rest stops, etc.), so I'm all for them.
Never been scared of going up in them, and I absolutely love looking at the tops of clouds (where else can you do that?).

Edit: Also, I do have a fear of heights, but it never goes off in a plane. Tops of tall buildings are the worst, especially when you can feel the entire structure swaying in the wind. Damn that's disconcerting.
