Podcast: DF #100: Final God of Warful Fantasy III-teen

This week's live episode of Distributed Failure is the big 100! We had tons of games to discuss, plenty of prizes to giveaway, listener call-ins, and it was like I wasn't even there. If you missed the show live then you can get it here or on iTunes/Zune, but you will have missed out on all the fun of being their live. Plus, you will not be eligible for any prizes, such as a Billy Mitchell-autographed bottle of his extra special hot sauce! Much thanks to Scot Rubin for the lovely intro and all the support.

This week's "What We've Been Playing" features discussion on Final Fantasy XIII, God of War III, Perfect Dark, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Blur, Resonance of Fate, Metro 2033, and a buttload more. We have plenty of listener call-ins and come to the realization that foreigners like us more than Americans. We hope you enjoy the show and don't forget to rate/review us on iTunes (we could use some fresh reviews). You can also leave us a voice mail and hear yourself on the show by calling us at 707-520-4263. P.S. Rob really is Elton John's baby boy.

Podcast: DF #99.5: Hating on Modern Warfare 2 and BioShock Tutu

This week's Thursday episode of Distributed Failure features some news, some hate, and just a little bit of Cosby. Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years and we look forward to giving you a 500th episode in about eighteen years. Be sure to check out our live show Saturday (3/20/10) on the All Games Network at 5PM CST; it will be the big 100th episode!

This week's news starts off with some rage on BioShock 2's Sinclair Solutions DLC and Modern Warfare 2's Stimulus Package DLC. We follow that up with some discussion on Windows Mobile 7, Yakuza 3 cuts, IGN layoffs, and more. BigSt3ph3n and Kari go into detail on their experience at LAN Lordz and we also featured some voice mails and some e-mails as well, which we always appreciate. We hope you enjoy the show and don't forget to rate/review us on iTunes (we could use some fresh reviews). You can also leave us a voice mail and hear yourself on the show by calling us at 707-520-4263.

*Side Note: BigSt3ph3n pimped Obviously Oblivious at the end of the show and referred to one host as a douche bag. I would just like to state that he who was not named [obviously Dan] is not a douche bag. He is in fact the opposite of what comes to mind when thinking of douche bags. That is all.

Podcast: DF #97: Live And Running Once Again

If you didn't make it to the live on Saturday (2/27/10) on the All Games Network, you can now download the show here (or on iTunes). We were without BigSt3p3n this episode, but we made up for that with the return of Dustin and live call-ins. We had fun despite Rob's initial worries of another failed attempt at going live and hopefully we'll be doing this every week from here until the end of time (or until BigSt3ph3n turns pro-cannibalism).

This week's "What We've Been Playing" features some more discussion on Risen, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Killing Floor, Time Gentlemen, Please!, Ben There, Dan That!, and plenty more. We follow that up with some live call-ins including calls from Derrick Hopkins of Dead Pixel Live [sorry about the XBL Indie mix up] and Jamie Creese of Vault Reviews. We hope you enjoy the show and don't forget to rate/review us on iTunes (we could use some fresh reviews). You can also leave us a voice mail and hear yourself on the show by calling us at 707-520-4263.

Podcast: DF #96: Rob Hates Everything Yet Again

We're back with another "real" episode of Distributed Failure, including more Bill Cosby! We do have a live show planned for  this Saturday (2/27/10) at 5PM CST on the All Games Network, but we can't guarantee anything at this time. If the live show happens, make sure you join us and join the live chat as well. I personally can't remember what happened during this episode as I wasn't really paying attention, but I can guarantee plenty of Rob-rage in this episode.

This week's "What We've Been Playing" features discussion on Risen, Dante's Inferno, Heavy Rain (I think), MLB 2K10, Deadly Premonitions, some XBLA titles, and plenty more. We follow that up with some gaming news and Rob talks about the mediocrity of Mass Effect 2. We hope you enjoy the show and don't forget to rate/review us on iTunes (we could use some fresh reviews). You can also leave us a voice mail and hear yourself on the show by calling us at 707-520-GAME (4263).

Podcast - DF #95: Hexagons

First, we apologize for the absence of a show last week; we recorded a full show, but due to technical difficulties, it basically sounded like Rob talking to the devil. We figured we'd make it up to you guys (and gals) by giving you two shows this week! That's right, we've got a show for you today and then we're going to have another live show this Saturday (2/20/10) at 5PM CST on the All Games Network. Make sure you join us live and join the live chat as well.

This week's "What We've Been Playing" does not exist. Why is that you ask? It's because we're saving it for the live show. This episode is focused on voice mails, some user questions, and gaming news. The gaming news includes our thoughts on some of the big announcements of Microsoft X10 Conference, some updates on Sonic the Hedgehog 4, used game sales, and more. We hope you enjoy the show and don't forget to rate/review us on iTunes (we could use some fresh reviews). You can also leave us a voice mail and hear yourself on the show by calling us at 707-520-GAME (4263).

Podcast: DF #91: Army of Tutus

Another week and another episode of Distributed Failure is here for your listening pleasure! This week's show is smaller than last week, but that shouldn't surprise anyone. It's episode 91 and we're slowly creeping our way to that slightly unbelievable 100 mark. Faeriekari is a "guest" yet again and is really creating a new definition for that word. Remember to show your love and check us out on the All Games Network.
