French Class.. No Fun... just like Vampire Rain

Actually, according to the numbers, we're not really that much more popular...Side Note: Everyone who owns a 360 should go over to newegg right now and grab a copy of Vampire Rain for $10! It is quite possibly the greatest game ever made!!! I'm totally being serious too, but now I must depart for French class...no fun.

Don't worry about Gus...he's not going anywhere. He's just a 35 year old Asian man going through a midlife crisis. He's not sure if he still likes to ladies, or if he really wants a piece of Jake G...only time will tell. On a completely different topic, does anyone out there play Resistance 2 MP? The CE is on sale for $50 and I'm a sucker for CEs, but I'm not sure if I'd really play the game that much (and I heard the SP is...in the words of Gus...WHACK).

I certainly don't think Gus should leave the show, as the best episodes are when all three of you are bouncing stories and jokes off of each other. It just seems that Rob prepares for the podcast better than Gus does, making Rob a bit more informed than Gus in most cases.

WHAT!? It saddens me to hear that you've never played MvC2...saddens me dearly. I can't remember what systems you own, but you must pick up this game when it comes out...don't think, just do it! DO IT!

As much as I hear about Marvel vs. Capcom 2, I've never actually played it. But based on how highly people regard it, $15-$20 does seem reasonable.

@Vinchenzo: I guess you're not that big of a MvC2 fan because I would personally pay $20 for MvC2 on XBLA easily...I would pay more if I had to as well, but it is my favorite fighter by miles and miles. And I just want to apologize for the podcast...it's not that it was bad, but my God did you pick an awful week to listen to your first show...you crazy! :P

And Rob hated Gus when he was first on...One Gus' first guest appearance Rob hung up on him for badmouthing Lost Odyssey (my initial impressions here). Rob also ended up screwing up that enitre show's audio track as well (it's why "failure" is in our name). A simple warning for any young lady who would like to join our little crew: Rob really just wants you so he can try and "get some"...I'm just saying...

Gus is awesome. I would not want to the podcast without him. He was supposed to be a one time guest, and we liked him so we kept him. I think the podcast does well with just 3 people. If we ever added more, I thin we would need one of the female persuasion... (I miss Bru  on the show :( )

I would pay a crazy price (for live games, anyway) for MvC2. I would pay as much as they ask. Unconditionally. Favorite fighting game of all time.

1. On the topic of the episode without Rob, it felt a bit flat. Granted I've never listened to one of your podcasts before. (I'm sorry!) But from the intro/outro it seemed like Rob was the joint that brought it all together.
2. How much would I pay for MvC2 on XBLA? At max $10. I'm not a fan of how highly the newer XBLA games are priced. In my day... we had Contra and Super Contra for $5 each. Guess what... any of those Contras lasted me longer than any $15/$20 XBLA game I've bought.

I am actually surprised that I wasn't  made fun of more in this episode. I should be back next week.

First things firstly first: We are back on iTunes! It was quite frustrating, but everything is up and working and better than ever!

@Luke: No love for Marvel vs. Capcom? I must say that you have some pretty good choices there and I do agree that 2D fighters > 3D fighters (except for the Power Stone series of course). Curious question: Did you try Battle Fantasia? ...if yes, what were your thoughts on the game? (Fun Fact: I hated the game because of the bullshit end boss)

How timely. I just finished listening to last week's episode.

My favorite Fighter of all time is hands-down Street Fighter III: Third Strike.  Some other close seconds include Killer Instinct, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Mortal Kombat II, and all Guilty Gears. 

I'm really looking forward to BlazBlue and I obviously like 2D Fighters over 3D. 

Street Fighter IV isn't bad, but it sure aint no SF3 :p
