Podcast - DF #58: An inFamous Bionic Commando

This week's show is surrounded with sadness; Gus Yoo has bid farewell to Distributed Failure. He may come back down the road, but for the time being he will no longer be pooping on air for your listening pleasure. We're sure as hell going to miss him and hopefully he hasn't been scarred too deeply from chatting with us for all these weeks. Here's to you Gus Yoo, the man best known for his poo, you were one of a kind!

We start this week's show like every other show (big surprise?) with "What We've Been Playing" and discuss such games as Bionic Commando, inFamous, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, Resistance: Fall of Man, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Wheelman, and much more! We follow that up with some gaming news including the leaked trailer for "Project Trico", the news of Atlus bring Demon's Souls stateside, and more. We end the show with a tiny dump of sausage and can only think to plug my sausage of pixelation.

The show was a little "wack" this week due to all the crizzle-crap that went down, but it still turned out to be an alright episode. Stay tuned for a more upbeat episode next week...who knows, we may even have a special guest! I hope you enjoy the show and don't forget to rate us on iTunes! :)

Question for next week: What will you miss most about sir Gus Yoo?

Well I am glad you liked the show.
As to headsets, they are cheap. Most are good, just dont try to use the built in mic, or a desktop mic, those are terrible. lol, episode 1 says hi.

@SynisterSpacer: Glad you enjoyed the show...and honestly, any headset would work. I used to have a nice headset, but it stopped working a while back. I've just been using a $10 headset for a while now and it's been working well enough for moi.

@jNerd: Glad you're enjoying the show and maybe you can be a guest sometime later because we may already have a guest for the upcoming episode (currently working on what exactly where going to do this week).

...I just have to say that I purchased a pair of the "Real Triggers" for the DS3 controller and they are magnificent! They area absolutely worth every single penny...if you own a PS3 then you owe it to yourself to pick up a pair of these lovely little critters.

Okay, sounds good. Just let me know because my schedule is super-empty. & it's cool to hear some 'word-of-mouth'  on those Real Triggers because I've been thinking about gettin a pair for my 360 controller.

@jNerd: I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure there are no Real Triggers for 360 controllers. The Real Triggers are made for the PS3 controllers in order to give the L2/R2 buttons more of a trigger-like feel...like the triggers that are on standard 360 controllers. There isn't any reason to have an add-on for the 360 controller when those buttons are already triggers.

Sorry bro I was a little dazed, LOL! I was thinking of the FPS analog stick attachment Speedfreek. I've been curious about these little buggers for quite awhile.

@jNerd: I've never even heard of these Speedfreek things, but I have never had a problem with the analog sticks myself so I really wouldn't be interested in something like that anyways.
