STEAM May Have Hooked Me...

There is currently a store-wide sale until January 2nd(I think) and it may be what hooks me into STEAM. I haven't made up my mind yet, but I will likely be purchasing about 7 games for a total of $35...it's just too good a deal to pass up. Games I'm thinking about/already confirmed:

  • World of Goo - $15
  • Peggle Deluxe - $5
  • Audiosurf - $5
  • Multiwinia/Darwinia - $7.50
  • Half-Life: Opposing Force - $1
  • Half-Life: Blue Shift - $1
  • Reaxxion - $1

...I do own boxed copies of some of these games, but these prices are damn good!

EDIT: ...Just dove right in and purchases all the games listed above...Money well spent!

Also...fellow STEAM users...My STEAM ID = CannoliCrasher. Feel free to add away! :)

I picked up Opposing Force and Blue Shift already, along with Bioshock for £3.49 (around $6, I think). I'm currently looking at Deus Ex and the original Far Cry. STEAM truely is awesome - it may have the power to turn me into something of a PC gamer.

Wow, Bioshock for like 6 dollars? I'm gonna go check that out. Also, I'm gonna check out World of Goo. It look's so good.

EDIT: Bioshock is 5 dollars...awesomeness. Before I buy it I'm gonna DL the demo and see what it looks like on my Computer.

I've had both Peggle Delux and Audiosurf for a long time now, so i can't really take advanatage of those two low prices. I bought a box copy of all half-life 1 games years back that was activated through steam...and that really wasnt as cheap as that! I've always loved steam, im always tangled in meh PC roots son!

Meh... pc gaming is overated.

Yesterday I spent fifty bucks on a bunch of games from Steam. Highlights include Bioshock, World of Goo, and a bunch of other stuff I'll never get around to playing.

What's Reaxxion? I kind of bought it without knowing anything about it.

I try and try but can never get into PC gaming. The only things I'll play on PC is Audiosurf and Peggle.

I just bought STALKER: Clear Sky for £9... it's alright, a bit slow and a bit weird for me. Also it looks hella dated.

I plan to get the Unreal Tournament pack for £12 and I'll probably pick up Bioshock for £3.

Adding right now. I got Bioshock for 3,5€! =O

@LordAndrew: Reaxxion is essentially a Arkanoid type game. I tried the demo and it's definitely worth a dollar.

Hmm. Yes, I see. It's actually pretty fun.
You tried the demo of a game that only costs 99 cents? Crazy. Unless you tried it out before the sale, of course.

I am cheap...so yes, I actually tried the demo before buying it. :P
