I am proud to now say you can access (and contribute) to the follow new entries:
- Avatar: The Legend of Aang - Into the Inferno
- High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance
- My Horse & Me 2
How could those titles not be on Giant Bomb? I simple had to add them to the expanding database. I shall not be buying any of those, of course. I'll try and rent (not direct rent) Avatar if they put in super-easy achievements like the previous title on Xbox 360.
In gaming, I have been playing Gears of War online. I love how each match I go in always feels different. Some matches your shots will not work and then in some it seems like your shots are overpowered. That's Mr. Ping for you right there! I watched a movie earlier too. In fact, my first Blu-ray movie, now that I've had the PlayStation 3 for nearly a week.
The movie probably isn't the best use of Blu-ray because it's not really something to be considered 'high-definition.' Anyway, it was Enter the Dragon, starring the legendary Dragon - Bruce Lee. It is from the 1970s but on Blu-ray, the quality of it seems like something that's been made a decade or two later. I was looking at some of the scenes showing water and it sure did look nice. I've seen this movie way back when I was too young to remember much of it. Only thing I remember was the first scene from back then. Although, clearly I remember watching it all and even knew what television channel I watched it on (BBC Two).
There's a load of features that add hours more content. All these features are on the special edition DVD, so nothing exclusive to Blu-ray. However, everything is all on one disc since well, Blu-ray is a much more superior format. There's a really good climax towards the end of the movie, which instantly makes the scene very memorable. It's excellent.
I shall consider renting more Blu-ray movies - particuarly ones recently made. Images in blogs - broken?
