The weather is bad.

Although, I like the occasional drizzle, I don't like it when it seems to be everyday of the week. That's what it is indeed for the remainder of this week. Great start for September, right? I know New Orleans must be a pain of a place to live because of the intense conditions that come along (doesn't seem too bad when reading here). Here, it has been no rain for a while and then suddenly you get a whole week of it!

I should have got a PlayStation 3 on Monday since the weather wasn't too bad. Didn't. However, today had some heavy rain. So, I didn't get it earlier either. I hope it isn't so bad as it seems to be predicted. I have to go out in this weather. Can't wait to play some Uncharted and maybe a few other titles too. Love the trophies they have implemented now but I won't be aiming high and mighty for these compared to getting achievements on the Xbox 360.

Google Chrome has been released and I'm sure it has probably been one of the most popular downloads on the web today. I got it and love how fast it renders pages. I tried Digg (usually a slow site when you load for first time) and it only took a few seconds to obtain. Scrolling seems faster too. I have heard if something in one tab goes wrong, it won't ruin the rest of your session. Each tab has its own environment. I know Firefox has a feature to bring back tabs upon crashing but with Google Chrome, if something is going wrong in one tab, I believe it will not interfere with other tabs' performance. So, that means - no browser crashes?

It's rather wet this week, it seems.

Hopefully your week is brighter than mine. I've also got two movies I've been meaning to see coming in the post this Wednesday - Knocked Up and Superbad. Hopefully some good, recent comedy choices.

I was really disappointed with Superbad; don't get your hopes up.  I consider it very overrated.  Also, installing Chrome!

Not raining here at all.  We've had a lot of sunshine for 2 weeks now and it feels great.
I feel bad for the people having to go through that damn hurricane Gustav.  Hope it clears up for all of you!
By the way, I disliked Superbad.  Very much.

Both are excellent movies, you should enjoy.

I downloaded Google Chrome and it seems to be just as fast as Firefox 3, I'd make the transfer over, but Firefox has add-ons that make browsing more manageable for me. Anyway, it sucks to hear that you'll be PS3-deficient for a while.

I love Firefox a lot, and Chrome was, eh....

The weather up here in Scotland has been utterly terrible lately. Wake up and its pouring with rain, go to bed and its pouring with rain and all through the day it never stops!
