Every time I see a bonfire or a furnaces I get a warm feeling inside...

Followed by the small pending feeling of doom if I were to walk away...

Darksouls did a great job of making you actually feel like your in a safeplace.

The only two other games I can think of that did that really well was Left 4 dead and Alan Wake.

ie. when someone is interacting with an object, actually show them with the object instead of using camera trickery to cover up the limitations forced upon the designers due to budget/time/technical. When something important happens off camera, show it instead of relying on NPC's to tell you what you should be seeing.

Almost all of biowares games never show your character actually intereact with the objext in cutscene, unless its like a super cutscene. And when you get your lightsaber as a jedi the cutscene to interact and create it is really cool.

I've played through every home planet through each class now, (Execpt sith warrior) And I can already tell you I much prefer the Empires stories. They are much grittier and more realistic than just being the goody-two-shoes. You can still be good for the empire, but it feels more intriguing.

So far I've really enjoyed the Sith EQ the most. And my least favorite? Sadly, the smuggler. One I was really looking forward too.

maybe it was just me but it felt like they were trying to make him too much like your Cliche smuggler. I wasn't interested in his story at all.

I think it could kill WoW. But at the same time I think theres to many fanboys of WoW.

Does anyone know when the beta actually starts? I got an invitation but I dont kno if it was this weekend or next or what.

SO Far I've found 3 companions too follow me around and such, but two of them were just people for hire and the other guy was some elf with no story.

Is that how all the companions are in this one? I was hoping for some more story related companions or ones that you could actually have more than 3 dialog options with...

why don't you buy it new, so you don't have to pay for the online?

I get 50% off used games since my brother is an co-owner of a place called X-Games in the middle of spit-fuck nowhere in the mountians in colorado. were the only game store in our town so we get alot of trade-ins and such.

Did you play the subway beta? Because it plays exactly like that after the final patch that nerfed the blindfiring mayhem. If you didn't enjoy it during that period, then the online pass is best given a miss.

Thats how I feel, but I also dont want to wait till like december to get the online cuz then everyones going to be like level 50 or whatever the max is and I am just going to get my ass handed to me.

Just look at commander Shepard compared to Sam Fisher.

Shepard beats reapers, Sam beats angry guys in prison.

I think saving the universe is a little more B.A.

Build your own weapon. Its the best way to go. I'd recommmend just going with raw.
