Nothing on television past, present, or future can ever hope to match the unbridled genius that was Married... With Children.

Unless they subtitled the Russian version of the show and brought it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB4lcuIpXwE&feature=relmfu

@Hailinel: I was as surprised by this as you for exactly the same reasons.

Believe it or not, apparently Robert Bowling (yes, that Robert Bowling of MW fame and left Infinity Ward) helped lead that last charge. He made the $7500 pledge and (presumably) tweeted about it which put it over the top.

I've said some unkind words about him in the past on how he was the face of everything I thought was wrong with MW2, but this earned back all that respect I have lost in him.

All respect to Jessica Chobot in real-life (for being actually pretty hot) and Mass Effect's 3D modeling team (for all those great Turian, Quarian, Krogan models), but I only have one thing to say about the virtual Jessica Chobot:

"Eeeeesh."

If you're reading this Dave, I'm not going to say what movie gets an homage in the Quarian section. Just rest assured that any and all complaints about ME3 will immediately be forgotten upon hearing it.

And James nicknaming Tali was funny as hell too. His awkwardness after his comment betrays him as a Tali fan.

Goddammit, why a point-and-click game? Can we not let that genre die the ignoble death it so richly deserves? (I'd settle with drawing and quartering with a spork as well) I'm sorry, but that genre showed the world how behind the times and inane they were when they brought us the "feed the mint that was slathered in goo to an undercover cop" puzzle in The Longest Journey and the cat mustache puzzle in Gabriel Knight.

Maybe it's because they got a guy on board who was actually enthusiastic about the project, but I have a feeling that I'll like this guy a hell of a lot more than I liked Jacob and Miranda. I actually think a character like this has some potential, someone who effectively works even more as an audience surrogate than Shepard who is relatively emotionally stable. In that sense, he's an expy of Jacob, but I found the voice-acting of Jacob so flat and wooden that I ended up hating him.

Hadn't watched the live-stream, so looking forward to seeing it on the Subscriber video section. I hope Dave and Vinny tore this game a new one MST3K/Beavis and Butt-head style because I hate point-and-click adventure games with a burning hot passion for the tortured fucking logic in those games.

There's certainly the potential for not totally unjustified outrage over racism. After all, we're talking about a game set in a country that was brutalised by the country the developers were from. After the undertones in RE5, I should hope Capcom has learned their lesson.

And like Vinny said, any of the Homeworld games are a good choice as well (I actually really enjoyed Homeworld 2).
