  • This game is one of those that you only get every decade or so. Tight, strong gameplay, characters that you care about, trouble free multiplayer, limitless playtime, a wonderful community and thats just the beginning. Blizzard really hit the mark with this one, even though it is only the 1st part of a trilogy, Starcraft 2 is one of the biggest bargains of 2010. With an amazing single play campaign, the tightest multiplayer I have ever played with options galore and a in-depth challenge mod that actually teaches you. No to mention the 100s of achievements and a community that makes a ton of media such as mods and community commentary. Starcraft 2 is the must by for any RTS fan or anyone wishing to give the genre a try.

  • The most innovative game of 2010. The underground hit Minecraft has you a simple block man building your world and discovering it at the same time. A mixture of old school and the new school this game will have you building elaborate towers, underground tunnels, glasshouses underwater, rollercosters and some of the most craziest things you will ever see in a game. And from what I have played of the multiplayer alpha this game can only get better. By adding multiplayer you can build cities and communities with friends, creating a world together only adds to the experience. And the game just entered beta this month! With the promise of single player goals, true multiplayer and a whole lot of new content, the world of Minecraft is looking like one I will be returning to for years to come.

  • An expansion in the game of the list year? Yeah, well this expansion is like no other and just proves how the Blizzard team as been able to grow there community even 6 years after release. Cataclysm recreates the old world, changing it forever. The world is reborn and is made fun for those looking to get into it in 2010 (with two new races which both have amazing starting questlines) and 5 more levels for level 80 players and tons of end game content. The world of warcraft still stands 6 years later as 'The MMO to Rule Them All'.
