Another list, this one I decided to make about all the best momments in games I've played that I will remember as being truly messed up.
Like good horror films they are disturbing, seriously weird, creepy or just plain gross.
Theirs a part where you walk in to a room you think is normal but are then forced to look up at a man with his torso ripped open, eyes removed and pinned to the ceiling by spikes yet somehow still alive.
He screams and the room fills with monsters.
Finding out a young girl was artificially impregnated by her insane father, forced to give birth to two human weapons and then have them both taken away shortly before being locked in a sealed prison left to die, most of which was more or less shown to the player.
Watching a man being tortured by having a giant eagle slowly eat his internal organs that apparently he was forced to endure many times over as each time he would heal afterwords and be fed upon again.
Later you help him get down and he burns alive, screaming in agony.
Walking in to a room filled with machines and ventilation shafts that has a very loud sound effect that is indescribably disturbing and discomforting. It kinda sounded like a chalk board being scratched, a train break squeeling and multiple people screaming all blended in to one looping effect with enhancement.
Finally finding your girlfriend alive only to discover she's had her arms and legs removed and been grafted in to the body of a giant cybernetic mutant who you have to kill while she's screaming and crying.
Walking around looking at plaster statues only to learn they're actually people who have been forcibly and slowly covered in the material while alive and have subsequently died in the process all for an insane artist.
Later you come across more in a room filled with ankle high water and assume they're all dead but upon leaving the room start hearing splashing, each time you turn around to look the 'statues' have moved but are motionless.
In a later level if you look to your right inside an underground area you will see a bleeding man crawling along the floor, at first you think wtf? then a GIANT BEAR jumps out of nowhere chomps on him a bit and drags him off kicking and screaming. Later on the bear chases you and you have to find cracks in walls to sneak in to avoid it, if your too slow he gets you. First person death by bear.
The chronos fight in its entirety, giant intestines spilling, ripping off a fingernail, popping cist like wounds the size of cars and finally ramming a big spike through his jaw and exploding his head with a big sword.
As awesome as the fight is, its pretty damn disgusting :P GoW3 is easily the bloodiest most violent game ever made and it got rated 15 here >_>
