Total Carnage 0

I played this game through Onlive on the micro console. I can't compare graphics with any other version, as I don't own a xbox, ps3 or decent computer.  If you are unfamiliar with Onlive, it is a cloud gaming service. The game is streamed to your computer or TV (if you have the little adapter which they are constantly giving away for free) from a remote server. Personally, I've had nothing but good experiences with the service, though I think it is primarily for people like me (too cheap/poor to...

Exactly what you'd expect. 0

This game isn't all that exciting or new..but it is fun. Yes there are some new bits of shine..minor motion controls and such, but overall I feel like I'm playing a game from the 90s.  Controls: Ok, nothing special. There are a few motion controls. You'll be holding the controller sideways for this one. Which is fine, since I prefer to game while sitting. Graphics: Like everything else for the Wii..blech. I have a fantastic TV. Its huge with all the right features. My fantastic TV is wasted on t...

Controls too annoying 0

I've been on a gamefly account for about a year now, and even though I've sent most Wii games back the same day I get them (with the exceptions of Mario Galaxy 1 &2, Metroid and..thats it), this one was even faster. I played for less than 5 minutes before I decided that the controls were simply too annoying.  I wouldn't recommended buying or renting this game....

I was expecting something more...polished. 0

I don't have a long history with the Sims.  I've only played The Sims 2: Castaway (also on the Wii) my review isn't tinged by fond memories.  The game itself runs VERY poorly on the Wii. I can hear the disk running nearly constantly (which doesn't happen on other games) and the game takes lots of little 3-10 second pauses while it loads things. Its very disruptive to the flow. At first I thought the disk was scratched, but was in perfect condition. The game also hard freezes the Wii ...

Entertaining, if only for a short while 0

I've never played a Sims game before, only SimCity, SimEarth and SimAnt. I got the game from gamefly and played it for around 1 week (~7 hours of play time in total).   The graphics: Meh. Of course thats the way I've felt about everything on the Wii. I have a pretty good TV, which I'm sure gives me a more negative opinion than I would have with my old TV. Overall if you don't spend a lot of time staring at individual elements of the game, you'll be fine. Everything is identifiable, but of low gr...

Its ok, if a bit dated 0

To start off with a couple of things: I was very excited to play this game as I've yet to enjoy an 'adult' game on the Wii my wife bought for our kids. Second is I've never played a Monster Hunter game before. Lastly I own a 55' HDTV (which may affect my views on the quality of the graphics). Graphics: Nothing special. I have not played a ton of games on the Wii yet, but in comparison this game doesn't look as nice as RE4. The text is terrible, kinda hard to read (even on the big TV). Each lette...

Disappointing 0

To start off with, let me say that I bought into the hype surrounding this game. I was totally excited to play it and bought it within a week of release...something I NEVER do (mostly because the price comes down a bit a few weeks later). The whole concept sounded fun and I generally like simulation and strategy games. Because I think of the game as several different games packed together, I'm going to review it like that: Cell: Fun but monotonous. In this stage of the game you get to play a gro...
