@rorie I don't see sizes on the socks on the store page. I assume one size fits all? Also - this might seem like a silly question - are they banded (do they grip the leg, or just sit loose like a diabetic sock)?
Good luck everyone! I can't participate this year. But that also means its the first year I get to actually watch most of this content, live. Looking forward to it
i loved hearing your story about the pokemon trade mishap (similar thing happened with me and a friend). However, you can always check who you are trading with before finalizing the trade. Simply move the cursor off of a pokemon (like onto the box button or search button) and the right side of the screen which normally displays pokemon stats disappears, revealing the name of the trainer you are trading with.
I got distracted during the claw machine part because I was reminded that Baman Piderman exists and had to binge watch those before I could finish this.
@alex@vinny loving the series so far, but just a little tip/reminder for Alex for dialogue trees. You don't have to wait for someone to stop speaking before picking your next dialogue choice. It will queue it up and pace the conversation naturally assuming you don't keep hitting the A button.
It just something I noticed while Alex was playing and would make some moments (like Shepard's speech she gave at the start of her Spectre mission) flow a lot better and have a stronger impact.
I think the only time the game will interrupt the dialogue with one of your choices is during certain paragon/renegade options (they'll be red or blue, I think), but i don't think Alex is far enough in to see those yet.
@danryckert For reference, Vinny is correct. You cannot activate the power of the red shine without owning it, which means it already had to be in your cup, so it had to be swapped with the others.
Regardless of all of that, that is how all of the previous red shines have been played as well.
Exactly. To further confuse Dan: This is the same ruling as a reaction in D&D or a triggered effect in Magic the Gathering. It only occurs after it's condition is met. In this case, claiming a special shine activates/triggers the special power, which happens after you've claimed it.
