Remo. Rodkin. No Far Cry 2?

It it just an effort to get me to blog? Why the "New" burst all the time on the blog tab?

Posted by LetterT

Thought I had a thought to blog about but nope. Nothing there.

No so sure it's epic yet. But it's definitely fun. Solid platforming with a little hint of puzzle thrown in as you try to find the various collectibles. It's got a decent difficulty curve that keeps it entertaining for seasoned gamers, but it's simple enough that less experience gamers can find it enjoyable.

Case in point, my wife. She gets frustrated with New Super Mario Bros. Wii. There's a few sections that are pretty dang tough. But with Kirby, she's finding it super enjoyable and even enjoys redoing the stages to max out beads, or find the collectibles we missed. She's even getting better at the Boss Fights.

Nicely done Kirby. Nicely done.

@berghi:  I'm hoping to take a full week in January. Might squeeze some FO3 in then!

For me? Sadly. No. We are hosting at our house this year. That means a lot of people and no quiet time to play games of the video variety. I bought Fallout 3 GOYE for my birthday and have only played for a grand total of 4 hours... maybe 5. That was back in April. By the time I make it all the way through the game and the DLC, they will probably be on Fallout 12. I almost need to take a day off just to play games.

Ahh, such is the story of life.

Oh yeah, the original Tron is pretty awful. Nadine and I couldn't even finish it. haha. Avatar aka Dances with Wolves in Space, was really cool tech wise, so I enjoyed it. We watched it at home again, and it felt like we were watching a Pixar movie. lol. It was made for the big screen.

For some reason though, I'm really excited for Tron. It has potential, which so many current movies lack. Have you seen the trailer for Green Lantern yet? Very disappointing.

Don't really care. I'll see it eventually. It's not a must see to me.

As mentioned in my previous post, Tron Legacy? Yes. Must see. In the theater. In 3D.

Who else doesn't care about Harry Potter?

I absolutely want to see it. The OG Tron was cool for what it was, though I did find it hard to sit through a few weeks ago. It didn't age as well as I thought it might. Nostalgia couldn't hold it together.

Just saw the 3rd trailer for Legacy. Wow. If ever there was a movie that could utilize 3D, this looks like a fantastic platform!

Heck, after watching the QLEX for Tron: Evolution, I'm even interested in picking up the game.

We'll see though. I'm sure real life and real expenses will step in and put the kabosh on those plans.
