i really wanted to get into this i even made an account for the Japanese version but i just couldnt get past the language barrier and memorizing which things to click on. It doesnt look ground breaking by any means, but i like pso and its free to play! cant beat that.
no backwards compat. i wonder if it would add to the cost of the system? (i know dumb question, but i really dont know) or if they are like...yea ps3 happened it was ok...but we are moving on in a better direction (so it seems)
your game can go into a sort of sleep mode and u can resume exactly where u left off or scroll through the replay of the last couple of minutes of play is pretty sick.
also watching people play is pretty cool. i wish i could also show their button imputs but i know that is asking too much. like for a racing game to see where the best driver brake and turn , etc.
A lot of us follow giantbomb because we have been following Jeff and Co for a very long time. It was part of my high school and college years. My guess would be many younger kids will look at the site and these guys and be like.....WTF? who are they? Leme watch the hipster dudes instead, I can relate to them better.
This is just my opinion. I hope the sight will continue for many years to come and attracts a newer audience. I think interns can help. Not that the current audience is bad, its just you need to attract new people to the site while not alienating the old ones. its a tough balance i would think. Once again this is all opinion.
