I am just throwing out this in the ether.

I don't post much of anything at all, but i have been listening to the Giant Bomb podcast since the beginning, and while Giant bomb enters a new phase I am happy that it will stay. I hope that all the new ideas will work out and I will stick around.

Just something that annoyed me was reading resetera and some of the posters were all "the fuck you care if they leave their jobs, you should get help if you are so emotionally invested in strangers on the internet", I did not post anything by the way. Man, I hate that since it is just totally missing the point.

I "grew up" listening to the Bombcast. Since I found Giant bomb I have divorced, lost my mother, finished university, lived abroad, remarried, had my son, lost my brother, and finally I am awaiting the birth of my second child.

One thing that has been constant throughout is the bombcast with the "core" group, damn right it hits me. Just goes to show that nothing is permanent and that makes you think about your own life.

I wish Brad, Vinny and Alex and all of them the best. I look forward to see what everybody gets up to. They all deserve continued success in my eyes, they are fucking awesome at what they do.

Cheers!

Honestly, I went Illuminati and went all in from there, before I could say "upset" I was at 20K.

It is doable without Illuminati, but it takes time.

Hmm i'm not sure I'll make any sense here...

Both systems will probably have compelling games at launch/ last gen launch, but I feel that Sony and Microsoft are offering two very different consoles.

It has been put forth many times before, but Sony produces hardware and Microsoft produces software.

Sony will launch with reliable hardware which may or may not be a bit more boring than what Microsoft has to offer.

Down the line, Microsoft hopes to be the defacto entartainment system. This is something that Sony cannot compete with, so they'll try to wow the consumers with hardware specs.

As for current ge games, PS3 has passed Xbox30 globally?

Me? I'll be keeping my PC, but if I'll buy a console it will be the PS4.

Mind you I am European so I am biased since I can't use all of the Xbone features. Both consoles will be great

If Titanfall is an Xbone exclusive for the first year I can see Microsoft gaining the upper hand, otherwise I think that PS4 will take this next gen, which would be surprising to me considering last gen.

As for current gen, speaking from a North American view of things, I think that Xbox360 will win the last months with its sotware line up, whatever it is.

My last nostalgia attack was when my 11 year old nephew got a SNES two weeks ago.

For some reason he is all into retro stuff and he wnated a SNES for his birthday, which he got.

With the console he got Super Mario World (Effin' A).

The most fun I have had in recent gaming times was showing him how to play it and find all the "hidden" stages.

Before that we were playing my NES, Megaman 2 and Double Dragon 3.

Expect to lose every game you play live.

I have been playing with friends for about 3 years now and I am just getting to know the game.

Sadly, buying the most recent cards seems to pay off.

The thing about Deck builders toolkits' are that they are not random, same goes for fat packs.

You'll get a number of semi-randomized cards, but not the "I win" cards.

Keep buying boosters or individual cards until you've got a good deck.

In the mean time, just have fun!
