"This sucks...the Japanese feel was the best part of the first one...maybe they'll do some sort of Japanese-Western crossover or something, I'd like to see how that works."
Leave the town and return after two or three in-game days and the town will no longer be hostile. If you're just out of the Vault I suggest heading South and trying to locate Rivet City, although you could just sleep for two days outside of the Megaton walls (but that's no fun).
Stewart is a better political commentator, I find Colbert more amusing generally. His dedication to his character is quite inspiring though. It's a spot-on parody of figures like Bill O'Reiley.

He won't Force Grip you if you don't jump on to the center platform he's on (I'm assuming you're on stage 2 of the fight here). Essentially Vader's Force Grip is inescapable, so if you get caught, don't bother mashing and just wait until he releases you. He's weak to lightning combos including the Sith Saber Smash and lightning grenades. You should be able to beat his saber locks if you mash hard enough.
Yeah Omega Red isn't in the movie... certainly possible he's in the game though, it's adding quite a bit to the story from what I hear. Movie was fantastically bad though; don't think there's much hope of the game helping it any.
Saw this over at Kotaku today... seemed odd. Supposedly Bethesda is going to publish Wet, a rather generic looking shooter orphaned in the Sierra merger last year. It's quite outside of Bethesda's usual sphere, but maybe they're looking to diversify?
I guess the game isn't vaporware at least. Puzzling news though.
