They thought that by changing GS site's design to make it look more similar to that of Giant Bomb, right from the login pop-up to the game page, profile layout, comment posting nearly EVERYTHING.
Before this turns into a rant of sorts which I am sure most of you have already done I shall stop myself. I can't just criticise GS' decisions beyond this. What was the need to change the site layout? Who ever complained that the older site's design was awful and inconvenient? Yet,I remain firm on staying on GS as long as my life allows me to. GS is a community site for me now. I come here to meet with my friends and that's all. I won't trust nor believe any word of what GS writes. Not that it might be wrong. Just because I have lost faith in their staff right now.
On another note,I wish all the fellow Indian GameSpotters (gagan, reetesh, chandu, neeraj, viveck you all) a Happy Independance Day. India has scaled great altitudes in a matter of 61 years. That's freaking rad. I am proud to be an Indian. :D

Give Me Liberty! (FINAL GTA IV Impressions)
There are few things that arouse a different kind of feeling. A different kind of emotion. An emotion so strong that it will baffle your mind temporarily that what you're actually feeling....That sums up what I felt at the end of the two "Revenge" and "The Deal" endings of GTA IV.
Traditionally every gamer in general and a RPG player in particular are used to the "good" and "bad" endings at the end of every game. JRPG's don't follow such traditions and hence they are excluded from this particular consideration. However recent console-Western-RPG's like Fable,KotOR,Mass Effect,Jade Empire and Oblivion etc have successfully captured the role of morality in deciding the final endings. Those endings seem pretty illogical today.
Since I have to keep this blog spoiler-free as [possible, for a certain dude who might buy GTA IV soon (DUDE,you are going to buy it,aren't you?) hence I will avoid any spoilers from either of the two possible endings of GTA IV.
But all I shall say about them is that they will give you neither the jubilation and satisfaction of a victory nor the sorrow of defeat. It will leave you stranded somewhere in between, leaving it all upto you.
*spoiler* Each ending results in the death of either of the two characters who are closest to the protagonist in a tragic event. *spoiler*
Also some of the last lines Niko says in the final cutscene, fits the entire concept and psychology behind the Niko's tragic odyssey across Liberty City in a single nutshell. Perfect.
That makes GTA IV quite easily the most different game in the entire series. Not as visibly different as GTA2 and GTA III,but when you search deep within GTA IV's soul you will find that the series that so mindlessly glorified violence in it's previous installments has suddenly become all mature and has given an all-new depth of understanding of the guilt and the reason behind the actions of a sociopath. Story and characters is what easily makes GTA IV a game on a completely different level from that of San Andreas and Vice City. While many fans may not appreciate this,I think GTA has taken a turn for good.
I will post my review, once I get Live Gold and play multiplayer, but I doubt it would effect my score on GTA IV. Which is
GTA IV Final Single Player Score: 10/10 (Imperfect Masterpiece)
Since I hate keeping two game saves of a game on my 360,I will stick with a particular ending to GTAIV. It''s "The Deal" in case you're wondering since it makes most sense to me in pretext of the actual setting of American Dream and the way a soul could be shattered in the insane rush after wealth. I intend to complete 100% of GTA IV and have already completed 76.4% so far.

The Cryptic Two
Currently I am busy playing GTA IV,but now since it's story mode is completed I can also dedicate some of my remaining gaming time towards other games. I have to complete Persona 2 : Eternal Punishment, and I haven't even opened Fahrenheit. The situation is going to get worse. In one and a half week,my uncle from UK is going to visit India for a week. He has promised to bring two of my favorite games that I played at his house in Manchester and gift them to me. :D
He's a little bit weird and he isn't budging to reveal the name of either of the two games. I can easily guess that one of them is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic which i played like an addict at his house. Not too sure about the other game. It could be either Doom 3 or Half-Life 2. Hell,it could be even FFIX or Quake 4 but meh. :P
So,that's uber-cool. I would probably be having KotOR in my hands (finally!) in two weeks time.

Suggestions for Metal
Firstly, here's my list of my Top 5 Metallica songs along with my ratings (NOTE: My music ratings are a lot stricter than my game ratings):
1. Master of Puppets - 4.5/5
2. One- 4/5
3. Enter Sandman- 4/5
4. Fade to Black- 3.5/5
5. Battery- 3.5/5
Now I have heard nearly most of the songs of Metallica except the singles in St.Anger. Now,while I await for the release of Metallica's new album-Death Magnetic in September,I want some recommendations on good songs performed by good metal bands.
I have heard a couple of songs from Iron Maiden,Led Zeppelin,Aerosmith and find their style interesting. If anyone could recommend singles from any of these bands or could recommend more from bands like Black Sabbath,Judas Priest,Megadeth,Radiohead etc.
That's it for now.
