Berfin on Pagle.

I'm loving WoW Classic right now. Sure it's got some issues (long respawn times) but I haven't felt this attached to my MMO character in years. Out questing and doing honest work for upgrades that feel meaningful. I'm upgrading my bags from 6slotters to 8 slotters and I can carry so much more, lets me stay out slaying longer! My bags are loaded up with random stuff found on mobs and claimed when killed. Not dozens of slots taken up with some random item that i need to hold on to and collect 1000 of designed just to take up bagspace (Mechagon anyone?).

Also having to group up again to accomplish quests. Everyone is a lowly adventurer together not the champion, or commander, or supreme savior of the world. It feels good to be lost on an adventure just helping out every day folks.

Baldur's Gate 1 is my one. I always get to Naskel or just before it and then go do something else. I will beat that game one day. I swear it.

@humanity: That is my biggest disconnect so far. During story bits she doesn't act like a woman in her late teens who has lived in isolation all her life. Most of the time she acts like a mid 30's video game adult who has been around a while the block a while and knows all the social queues. She fits in everywhere way to well for someone of her age and situation.

I hopped into the console generation with a PS4 Pro for this game. I'm really enjoying it so far. Especially since the last open world game I played was Saints Row The Third. I'm playing on Very Hard difficulty right now. It's pretty tough (doubly so since I'm still getting used to the PS4 controller, but acclimating quickly) and some sections have me dying multiple times till I plan out better (Looking at you first time fighting two Sawteeth to save those guys friends). I feel the armor and weapon damage/resist types could use a bit more explaining, even tossed some where in the notes section. There is a bit of weirdness going on with the stealth aspect. First it is a bit too easy to clear a camp entirely by whistling. Then attacking from stealth is either very fluid, or you are a teleporting magician. The story is compelling, even the side quest stuff has me wanting to do it. I find myself getting distracted by the side quest stuff too easily, none of it is particular difficult (so far). I do love going into new areas where new machines are revealed. The Bellowers was an awesome introduction.

I'm having a bunch of fun with it.

@bratcher_lev: I used that messenger back before going back to a backpack. My only issue with it is that the zippers are absolute trash. They broke so easily.

I've skipped all the open world games since Saints Row 3. Time to get a PS4.

Supposedly the review embargo lifts tomorrow. While waiting for some car maintenance I'm going to be reading reviews. Might pull the trigger and buy a PS4 tomorrow if things are good. So far Horizon is the first exclusive that's caught my eye with this new generation.

@azulot: No problem! If you are any where near any of them I absolute recommend going to a tasting. If not most can deliver (depending on your state).

I enjoy wines, usually reds. Beers I enjoy frequently, as long as it isn't extremely bitter. Spirits I don't mind when mixed, but I never go out of my way to get one, would never drink any of it just for sipping. Mead I really want to like, I just have never found any that I like. Cider is what I love. Every time I make long trips away from home I try and plan a stop at a cidery or two to get in a tasting. Cider is just so freaking good.

If you want some recommendations. My absolute favorite cidery is near Ithaca, NY. Bellwether Hard Cider They don't have anything I dislike. Favorites include Original, Liberty, and Cherry Street. Another fantastic NY cidery is ~30 minutes outside of Buffalo. Blackbird Cider Works. They have got an absolutely fantastic Christmas Seasonal cider. Red Barn tastes great. Premium and Estate drafts come in cans and I've seen them near where I live in central Maryland. The owner was pretty excited to learn he has got that far south. In Bellefonte and Gettsyburg Pennsylvania Good Intent Cider is a very small place that I only recently came across but had a great selection in small quantities. In Delplane, VA Cobbler Mountain Cider has a huge variety of ciders. Not every single one I liked but with the sheer amount there is something to love for everyone.

I highly recommend everyone going out and searching for local cideries near you. They are just so good.

Also as a quick note, if you ever find one that is too sweet. Squeeze a bit of lemon into it. An accidental discovery by my aunt when we were having lunch at Becker Farms and she squeezed some into her cherry cider instead of her water. It made it so much better. (Note within a note, Becker Farms food is amazing if you like crispy food.

I'm nearly double her age and a guy and I think going to visit a prison would absolutely be intimidating. You should take her but talk to her about it before hand. If she starts to feel uncomfortable she should be able to leave immediately. This would definitely be a good learning experience for her.

Also it would probably do good for her mother to see her daughter. Jail time is supposed to be for rehabilitation and punishment. Cutting her daughter out of her life for half would be pretty isolating for her. Furthermore the daughter is in early high school. Not having a motherly figure for that time could lead to larger issues (or not).
