Been around since 2010, but I mostly jumped ship once the Fandom acquisition happened. I check in every so often, but it doesn't seem like I'm missing much. Just look at the latest content field and you'll just see it's mostly the Giant Bombcast (stopped listening), Game Mess Mornings (not for me), Unprofessional Fridays (doesn't hit like the old ones), Voicemail Dumptruck (not for me), and the very rare Quick Look. The series they do now don't really interest me because I don't really care for the current lineup on the staff and they don't really have the spark of the old days. Only one video producer on staff certainly doesn't help in that category either. Honestly, give it a few years and I wouldn't be surprised to see Fandom shuttering the site as sad as it is to say. Nextlander is the closest thing to a neo-Giant Bomb at this point and I've been happy with their content selection.

Surprised they didn't bring back Best Console Exclusive game, though it probably would've just gone to Splatoon anyway

I think I've now seen just about everything in the game. I have all the random encounter wagons (Only ones I'm missing is getting to the end with all 3, getting all gold stars in survival, and the 50 days in Shuffle).

Have to say my favorite is still the mushroom scene. The text saying that your character is facing their inner demons and then the wagon you get from it being from "self discovery" is great.

I agree about the death text. I was actually trying to search for a list of the texts online to read all the variables, but couldn't find one. I find myself dying at certain parts JUST to see what the death text would be (Like the Mushroom acid trip scene)

For this year, I'd give it to Troy for Resident Evil 6. I really liked Jake and Troy voicing him made it better. Next year would be between Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite easily, no matter what else he does.

Not all of this is confirmed. Hell, all of it is rumors as of now, but it's interesting to read nonetheless.

All 2 of it? And Giant Bomb didn't play Hearthfire, which I don't blame them for skipping as it added nothing major story wise. Could make a case for Dawnguard making Best DLC though, but Skyrim will definitely not get 2012's 2011 GOTY.

Havent kept up with the news on that, but its not really IW anymore is it, after MW2?

IW is responsible for the Modern Warfare games as well as CoD1 and 2. Treyarch has done everything else. (CoD3, WaW, Black Ops 1 and 2)
