@Fearbeard: Almost Human said they are working on a map editor so people can make their own dungeons and they said they will probably release more at a later date.

I never played Dungeon Master because I wasn't born yet (only 20 years old), but when I was really young, around 5 or 6, I would play Stonekeep with my mom. Some of my best memories as a kid are going through Stonekeep. Really excited to play this today!

Really excited to finally play this since all I have is a laptop. Also, RPS posted a story the other day that all launch copies from Amazon will be signed by the developers. That's pretty awesome!

Edit: Hmmm. It seems like they took that story off the site? Not sure what that means.

Haven't listened to it yet but I definitely thought Jeff would like it. I've followed the game for awhile now and all the youtube guys (TB, Yogscast, etc.) love it and it looks like the first MMO I'm going to buy since WOW. The RPS article got me really excited too. It seems strange that he would not even give the Guild Wars 2 beta a chance, but would play Old Republic to almost max level. I tried SWTOR during the free weekend and I found it really awful. Alot of things ripped straight from wow and I thought the UI was really ugly. It just seemed like a free to play game or something.

The only thing I can think of that is "wrong" with the game is that if someone hears about it in a couple months and buys it, their chances of meeting someone else playing will be slim. Sticking with the second guy I met through the whole game was really just an awesome experience.

Not really a big spoiler, but if you talk to Liara in ME3 she says that it took the Reapers almost a century to conquer the Protheans. Jeff obviously didn't have that conversation with Liara because he seemed to think that being gone a week or two would be enough time to destroy everything. Also, the Protheans had no warning about the Reapers while everyone in this cycle did.

So I just started mass effect 3. Imported my character and started at level 30 since I reached the level cap in ME2. I chose infiltrator since that has been my favorite class, but it seems the sniper time dilation is not working. It is supposed to be a 35% slowdown but when I zoom in there is no slow down at all. Any other infiltrators having this problem?

All the crazy hate going toward mass effect 3 is insane. Of course it is not perfect, but most of the posts on the Bioware forums which mentioned a few times are about the endings and how depressing and bleak the game is. So why exactly is that a bad thing. I read alot of those posts (skipping the spoiler filled ones) and alot of people were complaining about how there is not a "happy" ending. I haven't played it yet or read any spoilers, but I think a "happy" ending would be really far fetched. Think about the information given in the last 2 games. The Reapers have been wiping out organic life for an indeterminate amount of cycles. None of those lifeforms could stop them and now all the sudden you are going to. These are some really powerful forces here and if you do manage to stop them there is going to be plenty of loss, death, and sadness because you are going to save the galaxy, but just barely.

Same thing happened to me. No online pass in mine. I also activated the online pass when i bought it when it first came out so I'm pretty much in the same position as you.
