@raiz265: Because then I have a box I don't want or need, I have to keep all of that documentation for whenever I need to install it in the future, and I forego having all of that automatically done for me through the steam service. I don't own a single boxed PC game out of about 200 games, and I"m not about to start.

@Jimbo: Except that the EA store comes with its own downloader and its own problems, including less-than-stellar customer service.  No, I buy from steam because they continue to provide the best user experience. Not putting a game on there doesn't mean I'm going somewhere else, it means instead of Dragon Age 2 I play The Witcher 2, and y'know, I'm okay with that.

What exactly is in the signature edition?  If it's exclusive story-relevant DLC then, well, fuck 'em.  I'm not buying a game through EAs store. Steam or nothing for me at this point, for big releases anyway. If you're some indie selling it through your own store, that's one thing. But EA has no excuse.

@BigLemon: Mass Effect 2 (or one, for that matter) doesn't have gamepad support on PC. You're going to have to adjust. As someone new to PC games himself, I feel your paid, but the learning curve isn't too rough if you just stick with it. I go back and forth pretty freely these days.

Glad to see this play out this way, as it was my personal hope for what Harmonix would be up to. Been a fan of the studio since Amplitude, can't wait to see what comes next!

Picked up Railworks, because I'm STUPID. Also picked up Recettear, as I had been waiting for just this moment to grab it.

I think this sale's been pretty good. The constant stuff is solid, and the daily deals are good. Remember, daily deals go well through next week, so there's plenty of time for stuff you really want to come up on sale.

I'm just with the GB crew in that I'm starting to fill out my list of all the stuff I want and kinda want.  Especially since I don't play RTSs and FPSs, 60% of steam deals aren't for me.  But hell, that's okay.  I don't need to be spending loads of money EVERY DAY.

If it's good enough for her, it's good enough for me.

TalkRadar is the only other gaming podcast I listen to anymore.  Another vote also for the /Filmcast.

Yeah, pretty sure it's going to be ME2 this year.  I'm more curious how the smaller awards pan out.
