Damn Shoemaker. Posting doubting tweets on Twitter, fueling my doubt. However, as old as my 360 is (late 06, early 07) I prefer my Skyrim installed. The loading times quadrupled when it wasn't installed and crashed a couple of times every hour. I'll stick with lower res textures and a playable game until Bethesda fixes things.
Skyrim is still, all things considered, my game of the year. My muse, my lover, my Achille's heal. Bethesda, I am truly your bitch now --if I wasn't already before, with Oblivion and Fallout 3.
Edit: But it did mean I got my first comment on a GB post. So, yay Bethesda!
If only the criticism directed towards a negative review at least attempted to be as eloquent or founded as the review itself I wouldn't mind it as much. With this in mind, a lot of reviews are not always what they set out to be. I've read my fair share of reviews that are either positive or negative in a way that isn't fully justified. Sometimes reviewers tend to fall in the same traps as us mere gamers and avoid (intentionally or not) being critical of the game and just jot down their feelings about the game.
It's a great renaissance for the written content on Giantbomb with you on board Klepek. I'm not used to seeing several articles or other features on this site that isn't video. Keep doing what you do because it works and provokes thoughts.
Okay people, (1) Rorie for PRESIDENT, and (2) Dark Souls for GOTY. This is a game I've been longing for since I first saw the Quick Look of Demon's Souls. A Demon's Souls for the 360 (since I am currently not in possession of a SonyStation 300). An uncomprimising and sadistic game, luring me in with a morbid difficulty and serving some tasty, traditional game design that have never felt so fresh, mesmerizing or relevant.
Heh. I watched the opening (the tedious "hey let's read a bunch of questions out loud and then answer them"). It did get me excited to play the game myself though, I'll probably do that later today.
Fist time I re-visited Gamespot after tuning into Giant Bomb (circa 2008). It was worth it. Quantum Conundrum looks freaktastically great and I can't wait to get my hands on yet another first person puzzle game!
Duder! Majora's Mask is the Zelda game and the world needs an improved 3D version of it. Yesterday would've been better but I'll settle with tomorrow. No, changed my mine. Right now. Aounuma, why aren't you in my room giving me games?
I enjoyed both the article and this... commentary. It's almost always interesting to hear about other ways to perceive and appreciate video games - aside from my own narrow-mindedness.
