Even though Batman is by far my favourite comic super hero and I don't even like the God of War games, I'd have to give this one to Kratos. Like some dude said, this guy dragged his out of hell and ripped the shit out of the Greek pantheon of Gods. You think some playboy million with ninja skills and some cool toys really has a chance against that? 

I love Yahtzee's work and watch it every week, but just like any review you have to take it with a grain of salt and let your own experience dictate how you feel about the game. Everyone plays games for different reasons and with a different attitude. Some will love a game that can be compared to an excel spreadsheet (Final Fantasy) while as others may be into a game that is twitchy gunfest (Modern Warfare) or maybe some sort of mixture (Mass Effect/Bioshock)

Why do people keep saying "I had more fun with Saint's Row, but GTAIV was a better game"? No, if you don't have fun with it than it is not a better game. GTAIV tried to make itself some serious realistic life simulator.. except in real life people don't run down the street with rocket launchers. The cutscenes/story made no sense in connection with the gameplay where one second Niko is a remorseful douche just trying to live in the big city and then the next he is running down old ladies in an SUV he hijacked from some soccer mom . It breaks immersion, takes players out of the game and also makes for shitty fucking gameplay. Saint's Row 2 the main character is a psychopath and when you go into the world and start blowing up skyrail systems with attack helicopters just for fun, it makes sense. Stop saying GTA IV is a better game because it's not.

I've put over 600 hours into on the console. Still go back to it. Best game I have ever played. The world is deep, it seems like each dungeon has its own little story to tell, the quests are plentiful, the array of spells and abilities allow for complete character customization and the writing is stellar, particularly the Dark Brotherhood and Sheogorath but you also find little surprises where ever you go like trolls that have committed suicide or necrophiliac shop owners. I just can't wait until Elder Scrolls V... whenever they decide to make it instead of more shitty fallouts.

Yeah it is pretty short. It was okay I thought Bad Company One had a better campaign though. Rampaging through a golf course on a golf cart with a rocket launcher is pretty crazy fun. This one was too linear and felt like modern warfare 2, but with less dying.

I agree with whoever said the game looks great. I've noticed the banner missing a couple of times which can be confusing if you are playing as the Russians and then you don't know if you've won or not until you get to the next screen. Otherwise, yeah it's great.

I get so excited tagging multiple enemies I sometimes forget to shoot...
