I really do hope this is the week we hear something, it's been fairly dry since E3 ended, Ryckert's been in Kansas, I know. But he's back now, there's precious little else to play and no upcoming content on the horizon at all. They may hold off 'til after Gamescom, but I really hope not. If this game got finished just before MGSV it would be just so wonderful.
As for all the negativity towards MGS4 ITT, I haven't played it recently, but I do remember it fondly, I remember the ending being ridiculous. So ya'll all have good points.
Honestly, I'd prefer to hear a lot of negativity towards the game over all the negativity towards Drew we got during last playthrough. The man did the best he could!
I'm seriously looking forward to him playing this game with some sensible-ass controls, though I do recall being bummed that they'd simplified it so much, I doubt Drew will have the same problem.
They never even go to Gamescom. They don't get to use that excuse. Not to mention that Gamescom is like 3 weeks before Phantom Pain comes out.
Also, after a whole generation of playing third person shooters to the point where they've pretty much been perfected, going back to MGS4's 2008 controlls is REAL weird. I experienced that myself when I started playing it for trophies earlier this year, for the first time in years.
