@Blitzer said: The Sabo's Deshell causes the spells to drop the gauge MUCH slower than normal.  If you don't have a Commando, start every fight by Deshelling the enemies.

I played Conquest exclusively because I didn't like the idea of only having 75 tickets.  Stupidly, I thought that you had 75 for the entire game.  Once I realized you got 75 more after capturing, I tried it out.  Rush outclasses Conquest handily.

@MAN_FLANNEL: I disagree about the AR's having bad iron sights.

The M4's is a little crowded, but still works great.  The FAMAS' is incredibly accurate, just a little small.  The SCAR has by far the best iron sight in the game.  The TAR's is nice, but I could do without the large ring on the outside.  A lot of people have trouble with the FAL's, but I quite like it, and it allow me to use a different attachment.  The M16's is also a bit on the small side, but still very usable.  The ACR's is probably my least favorite, it's little cross in the middle block too much of my target, but the gun is saved by it's lack of recoil.  The F2000's is manageable at best, like the weapon.  I have more success hip-firing it with Steady Aim.  The AK-47's is fantastic, you just put their head in the convenient bowl and pull the trigger ^_^

EDIT:  Also, those complaining about sniper damage...make the switch.  The WA2000 is by far the best sniper in the game.  It has a pretty quick fire rate, easy recoil, and one-shot-kills from the upper chest up without Stopping Power.  This allows you to use Cold Blooded and have the advantage against Thermal users every time.  That or stop rushing your shots and learn to aim.  Use Cold Blooded with your Sniper classes, I promise that for all the hit markers you experience at the beginning, you'll start to be a better shot overall.  I used to use the Barrett almost exclusively, going for chest shots with Stopping Power.  I switched to the WA2000 about a month ago, and even though I only have 423 kills with it, 237 of them are Headshots.  It simply made me a better shot.

I've also noticed a huge spike in the quality of opponents at night.  Not quite sure why that is, but it's a lot more enjoyable because they also seem to be the people who care about objectives rather than K/D.  My Dominations are usually pretty close at night and total blowouts one way or the other during the day.  Maybe it has something to do with the kids having their bedtime?

@minotaka: And Hades is in my opinion one of the less satisfying fights.  You've a lot to look forward to :)

Mmm, wouldn't want to push down all the other topics that are getting so much activity, right?

This is by far the most context appropriate QTE in the history of QTE's.  At the same time...holy crap.  After about only 3 hours (I just took care of Helios) this game is way, way more savage that the first two.  Some of these kills (notably Helios and the centaurs) make me cringe, but also pretty much cement Kratos as the meanest, nastiest S.O.B. in gaming.  Really enjoying the game so far.

Game sounds right up my alley.  I've always played Call of Duty cautiously.  I've never once gone negative and that 's simply because I scout a situation before going into it, so the part about finding angles and supporting a team really appeals.  Run and gun has never been my game because it's simply mindless. Unfortunately, that's what Call of Duty has become altogether so I think I'll be making the switch today.

Thanks for all the feedback!  I tried a few other boards (GameFAQS and the like) and got squat.

I've been an avid CoD player since 2004, but the amount of bullshit going on in MW2 has me pulling my hair out. I'm considering a switch to Battlefield today, but am wondering how bad the learning curve is. I'd like to potentially jump right into online tonight, but I absolutely HATE doing poorly online. I get catty, what can I say. I played a bit of the single player of BC1 and didn't find it terribly fun, but I'm aware that SP by no means reflects MP.

Also wondering if anyone else made the MW2/BC2 switch for the same reasons (dual shotguns, knifers, nuke boosting, care packages). And if so, how would you rate your time (short as it may be) with BC2 in comparison?

Would love any info, thanks.
