I defiantly felt it all day at work yesterday. Sitting at my desk trying not to lose it when I found out the news. And today seems just as unreal as yesterday. It sucks losing someone that you followed for so many years, that you felt like you knew so much about. But it does remind me that I need to focus more on the important things in life and not waste the minuscule amount of time we have here on this little rock.
Thank you for sharing this Andy, that was a really great tribute. That will be the greatest beer ever!
I was able to meet Ryan at PAX East the first year they did a panel and got to hang out with him for hours at a bar and shot the shit. It was one of the best nights I can remember and before I left to catch my train home Ryan gave me the biggest bear hug ever and thanked me for coming out. I will miss being able to hear him on the podcast every week, hearing his opinions, and laughing along with him during funny moments of the podcast. I miss you man, and I hope you are resting peacefully.
Dave we are going to miss you, but I as long as you still pop in for quick looks and podcasts then I am sure we will live =P
If removing the backwards compatibility will reduce the starting price of the system, then I am all for it. If you wanna play ps3 games when the new system comes out then go pick up a ps3 they will drop in price even more so after the launch of a new console.
I have done plenty of drunk stumbling in the wrong direction in cities I do not know; why not add Boston to that list?
You've got the right idea!
I did this last year, was not too bad so I can recommend it. Thought I am at an advantage of living in Boston my whole life so try and avoid the shady back alleys when you can.
also, dont forget that boston's anime convention is happening the same weekend
Mother of god. Prepare yourself for symphony of questionable odors, Boston.
Totally not looking forward to the smell on the MBTA that weekend.
