If Konami were smart then they would of ported Twin Snakes to 3DS instead of Snake Eater, it was the one game we all wished they had included in the collection otherwise.

LIke I said, I haven't posted in Gamespot forums since November now. Once the unions died out, it lost much of it's purpose to me.

Gears of War 3 basically closed the series, why bother making another one?

I think Nintendo will pull through, mostly because the rumours surrounding Wii U aren't as drastic as the DRM measures Sony and Microsoft have been allegedly working on with their new machines. Blocking used games and demanding constant internet access for games is bullcrap no matter how you look at it.

Shadow of the Ninja, Power Blade, Robocop, Low G Man, Wrath of the Black Manta, Super Turrican are all games I dug on NES, probably worth trying them out since people might forget to list 'em.

Seems cool. I'm sure the game will be fun either way though. I'll probably get Max Payne 3 myself once it hits a more affordable price point.

EDIT: Also I bet James McCaffrey is feeling like this right now

@x0mb13: I know from experience it'll be shit because of the reasons I've already stated. GSC Gameworld are fantastic developers but given how ambitious this project will be, the fact that it is joining the MMO trend and the way it is going to make money are all more than enough to alienate a few of their fans. Don't belittle me for not liking the decision. There are many other business routes GSC could of taken, even falling back on Kickstarter if they really had to.

And just to make a point, TF2 was BETTER when there were no micro-transcations. Legitimate owners of the game, like myself, continue to play TF2 Beta because ironically there are no bullshit broken weapons or items on any of the classes. Besides of which, now it is F2P, the level of hacking players and number of people who simply don't know how to play have increased dramatically. The switch was a kick to the nuts for all of us who bought The Orange Box if anything.

I was interested up until I heard F2P.

I was interested in your opinion until i saw you dismiss a game based purely on its distribution method.

I would pretend I'm interested in what you think about my opinion but I don't make room for half-arsed, 12 year old, comebacks.

Excuse me also for not liking micro-transactions, having to deal with horribly implemented in-game currencies and generally receiving a broken, glitchy, experience that tends to feature heavily in the vast majority of F2P games.

So stoked. I was gutted when the rumors started that Prey 2 was cancelled. Honestly one of the few games I'm actively looking forward to.

I think you should read the link below.

It's their way of reminding us of this games coming in the future even if it brings one of the oldest tricks to the net with the canceled rumor mill of bullshit time and time again. Movie studios use many of the same tactics. Bethesda closing the studio working on the game would make it more believable.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-04-19-prey-2-developer-hasnt-worked-on-the-game-since-november-report

Zeni Max are just one example of this type of corporate bullshit. No wonder 3rd party developers are closing left and right. Look at what they did to Obsidian. They knowingly published an unfinished game because the suits needed their quarterly bonuses. Then did not give Obsidian a bonus because of one fucking point even tough the game made them well over 300 million dollars of profit. Bravo. I wonder how much of it was used on the QA for PS3 version of Skyrim. I also love how Metacritic wash their hands when shit like this happens.

They bleed the developer dry, then squeeze every cent they can from the consumers with online passes, micro transactions, and day one DLC. No wonder studios jump on the offer to be owned by a major publisher. Who the fuck wants to deal with that crap.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brink, WET and certainly RAGE only turned out to be as disappointing as they were because the studio rushed them out of the door. And let's not forget Bethesda's responsibility in turning Rogue Warrior from a tactical shooter, by Blacklight developers Zombie Studios, to a run-of-the-mill FPS by Rebellion. What the hell?
