I use Lastpass. The browser extensions are free. It syncs to the cloud (and is well encrypted). It has a web interface for machines that you can't install the extension on. It's free.

If you want mobile support it's $12/year.

I've been using it for a couple of years. It's been great and I've never had an issue. Give the browser version a shot for free.

Yeah it sounds nice...Can you login to it and have it show you all your passwords? Because if you couldn't, how could I login to apps like Facebook, Twitter, etc., or login to games that require accounts?

Yep. You go to lastpass.com, login, and you have access to your entire password database. You can view them and copy/paste. You can access the website for free on mobile as well. The $12/yr premium access for the app is more about convenience.

I don't even think about passwords anymore. When I register for a site I hit the generate button which creates and stores a new password. When I open up a site it automatically fills in my password (if I choose).

edit: And to respond to your edit, I use a really long and complicated pass phrase for my lastpass password. It's something that would take a very long time to crack and be impossible for someone to guess based on knowing me. It's essentially a nonsense phrase with non-English slang. It's very easy for me to remember and quickly type in. I couldn't remember a different one for every site, and most sites don't even support a password like that.

If you want mobile support it's $12/year. You can still use your mobile browser to access the website and retrieve passwords for free. The mobile app just makes things easier.

What I think is weird is all of the people on Internet forums who distrust every professional reviewer for some reason but when they ask for an opinion on a game, and I give mine, they take it and thank me for it. They don't know me, they don't know my biases, they don't know my motivations, they don't know my tastes, and they don't know my history. Professional reviewers have a public body of work that tells you that stuff. Still, to them, my opinion is somehow more valuable even though for all they know I'm some dick on the internet who just wants to screw with them.

It's the part he was born to play.

I wish they hadn't made the preview deal with the one store that doesn't stream on the web.

I don't know why this is creepy. Jeff often travels for the work that he does for this site. People are wondering what he's working on. What's creepy about that? Now, if the answer was that he was on vacation and the trip was personal and people started prying into that, then it's creepy.

I do think that the new gameplay is closer to what I think of with XCOM. However, I don't think that it needs to be. It looks like something I'd like to play, maybe even more so than what they were showing a couple of years ago. I'd still like to see that version though. Maybe if this does well they could do a Blood Dragon/Case Zero type downloadable title with that original smaller, suburban horror-style FPS that they had.

I moved to California from Australia (English Texas) in '08 and I'll tell you one thing. Nothing makes a whole populace seem more lazy than listening to people say Aloominum. I swear to you, put those U's back in the USA and a whole swath of international opinion would change for the better. Canada is representing the last shred of lingual dignity on the North American continent.

In this thread an Australian insists that another country has butchered the English language. Now I've seen everything.

I just played through the first three levels. There's a big fat Unity engine logo when you start it up. That combined with the quality of the presentation and depth of gameplay made me immediately go to Google to see if this game was releasing on mobile platforms. It is. Without going into it more, since I haven't played much, I think that says quite a bit.
