I very rarely preorder things, but I'm able to afford a new console right out of the gate for the first time in my life. So I've been looking to preorder one, but none of my nearby retailers have any preorders available. I have no idea when I'll be able to get my hands on one and I'm kinda bummed out about it.
AC2, Brotherhood, and Black Flag are the only ones worth playing. That 2D one from Climax seems alright though. There's a bunch of quick looks here that could help you make a decision.
Why did I even BOTHER to look at the comments? I'm glad that there are plenty of "Yeah this is stupid and pretty gross, enough already" but the number of people who basically said that sexism in video games is a NON-ISSUE baffles me. I can't imagine there isn't a single poster here that either a) IS a female who plays games or b) KNOWS a female who plays games. Everyone plays games now.
Yes, this product is tacky and ugly, just like many other collectible statues that people can purchase. It's NOT about the statue. It's the thought behind it. There's a decent percentage of the audience interested in this game that are being ignored in favor of the "target demographic." Companies should care that women won't buy this shit. The target demographic for any entertainment company should just be "people with a disposable income." Not "gaming males age 18 to 25" not "gross pervs that like boobs and lots of them" and not even "oh I guess we should make a game that girls will play, make it pink and sparkly and shit."
I'll play anything provided it plays well and has a good story. Good art helps too. Oh, I guess I'm just looking for good games.
@ShineyCheese3: They worked together about a bajillion different times, so it's no surprise that Kath is just as qualified as the one they're looking for is.
Our Gamestops are pretty cool about DS games, but to be honest, I've never really gone to Best Buy for games. I think they just are too focused on other electronics. Or too spread out to really care about the games. After all, it is a store that sells high end TVs and computers and such.
The Wireless sensor bar also has the benefit of a wider range for bigger rooms, which is nice for people playing on bigger tvs and have to sit farther away.
