A Tough Ride Round L.A. 0

So the first thing I have to mention about Midnight Club L.A. is that if your a fan of the series then this game is a buy for you. A veteran of the series will feel right at home once you load the game up and start zooming round the city. For those of you not so new to the series you might need to step in with caution, but lets back out for a second.Midnight Club L.A. is a fast paced street racing game from Rockstar which features intense races and sweet customizable cars. You play the game as a...

Fantastic sequel to the XBLA classic 0

Geometry Wars Retro Evolved was one of the very first games to be launched on XBLA when the Xbox 360 first launched. Since then it became classic on the system for its addictive gameplay and challenging nature. From here Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2 serves up more on the plate without ruining the classic formular. For those who haven't played Geo Wars the game is a top down - twin stick shooter, you move with one analogue stick and shoot with the other. You fly your ship around a colourful grid ...

Average online FPS 0

Back in the day Shadowrun used to be a side scrolling RPG on the SNES. Today (crushing many fans dreams) FASA studios has turned the concept of magic returning to the world into a Online only FPS. This is at first a great idea, promoting XBL and getting more people into online gaming. The downside is that it leaves the game with absolutely no depth or substance. The gameplay in Shadowrun is surprisingly outstanding. You start each game with a certain amount of money which you can use to buy mag...

Probably the most epic game you will ever play. 0

From the creators of Ico comes Shadow Of The Colossus an action / adventure game that really lives up to the genre. To get the story started you are a boy traveling to a land far away with your dead love, you are told that if you defeat 16 collossus that she will regain her soul and live again. So the first thing you do is to go out and find these collossi which is really quite simple, you press circle and you will hold your sword up and allow light to show you which way to go. Then you go there...

Must have for open world/sandbox fans. 0

Crackdown is just one of those games where you just cannot wait for the sequel. Now that the basic foundations are set we just need to wait for Realtime Worlds to pick-up Crackdown where they left off and create a fantastic sequel. My reason for saying this is because the long awaited Crackdown does everything right and everything wrong. In Crackdown you are a super agent working for the mysterious Agency ordered to clear up crime for the streets of Pacific City. In order to wipe the streets cl...

The best game on Wii. 0

Resident Evil 4 Wii edition is the definitive version of Resident Evil 4. The original game came out on the Game Cube in early 2005. Back then the game was an instant classic gaining a huge reputation. The game was released again later that year on the PS2 with some extra missions bundled in. Again the game gained huge critical acclaim. Earlier this year the PC version was released with more extra missions and now we hit the Wii edition. The Wii edition is essentially all of these games bundled ...

An immersive RPG experience. 0

In 2002 Bethesda softworks released The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It was a huge imersive RPG experience that unfortunately had some problems that prevented it from worldwide recognition. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblvion fixes all of these problems and could well be named one of the best RPG's of all time. So not to spoil the main story of the game, this will be brief. The game takes place in a land called Tamriel and in the province of Cyridiil. Accross Cyrodiil Oblivion gates have been poppin...

If you own a 360, you need this game. 0

Ok to start Gears Of War is an amazing game. If your not easily offended and don't have it already go out and buy it because you will not be disappointed. For those who don't know Gears Of War is a third person shooter from Epic; who are best known for FPS's like Unreal Tournament. The game is set on another planet where humans have colonised and a load of aliens called the Locusts have invaded. The game takes place years after emergence day which is when the Locusts first invaded. The story is...
