I cant remember the awards show but of course, BEP won something. The "frontman" guy said he's glad that technology has advanced enough to allow him to make the music that they do... I wish I wouldve been in the crowd to yell, "OH, YOU MEAN AUTO-TUNE?!!". They would've had me killed but it would've been worth it.
Right now, shooters are starting to all seem the same. The only thing duke has to stand out among the crowd is funny/satirical/sexy storytelling... and even that cant carry a game, no matter how many virtual boobs you throw in there.
@aurahack: Ooooh, drawing. I think thats the first I've heard of that. Sorry for leaving it out. I could totally see myself knocking out a few sketches while listening.
Im kind of on the fence, although I voted yes for more guests. On one hand, you get different points of view for things that the normal GB crew doesn't cover as well as someone possibly having a similar passion about a particular game. Like if the GB'ers dont like playing MMO's but this new guest talks about all the cool stuff thats coming out in MMO's (just an example). And on the other hand, you get a terrible guests that maybe takes him/herself too seriously and doesn't really contribute. I'm not the type of person that believes the Bombcast is some sacred virgin thing that must not be exposed to anything to keep it pure. Some guests will be good, some wont.
@anypti: You can play starcraft and listen to 4-5 guys talk about video games? I figured SC was one of those, "I need to turn off all distractions and focus all my attention on getting more units!"
