Hey Charlie!

First half was fun, but Dan turned into a bit of a shit in the second half.

I missed these. I wouldn't mind seeing some more time spent on Dawngate as well.

From the guy complaining that sales were bad because people were only buying his games on sale...

I don't think Brad ever picked up the thief ring. That would probably help.

I was kinda bothered by how much smack the enemy team in that second game was talking. Talk about being poor sports.

@marokai: I think there's a difference between "audience" as an aggregate and "audience" as a group of individuals. I'd bet both TB and Jeff and many others care about their audience as an aggregate, but humans aren't wired to care about that many people as individuals. I, as the audience, appreciate what the GB crew does. But I would never expect any of them to treat my voice as louder than any other's. Friction arises when the members of the audience think they speak FOR the audience. And that's not the same thing at all.

Oh my god, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Who are you people?

If I were to be honest, I would say those who realize that being an internet content provider doesn't make you a well groomed pin-sharp personality. Nor are they any less people. Nor do we feel any particular need to be lied to in order to protect our feelings. Take the GB crew... they're just people, for the most part. I don't need them to be my buddies, I don't need to be treated like a delicate flower. I would prefer they happily go about their lives and I go about mine. The beginning and end of our interaction is they provide content, and I consume it. I'm never going to expect Jeff to be some elegant glad-handing socialite. He doesn't care about me, I don't care about him, and I wouldn't have any of us lie to each other about that reality.

It's the people in this thread that expect their "internet celebrities" to be idols that scare me.

The micro-transactions in nearly all of the Xbox titles is off-putting.
