Looks great!  Hopefully, they'll announce a release date this week at Comic-Con... and/or send me a Beta Invite :p

@lowercase16:  I played the English version a couple months ago, on what I believe was a 24" HD monitor.  It was a near finished debug build of the game.

I honestly remember how utterly disappointed I was when I got Disgaea 3, because I got my first HD TV around the same time.  All my other games looked amazing, but not Disgaea 3 :'(

Anyway, Disgaea 4 looks great and you shouldn't be disappointed!  When I was playing it, I just enjoyed the game and didn't even think about the graphics at all.  Here's the thread of me playing the game:  http://www.giantbomb.com/disgaea-4-a-promise-unforgotten/61-32698/disgaea-4-english-version-man-i-saw-that/35-495742

Hm, am I really the only one?
No, it's happening to me also.

I'm using HDMI to optical to DSS processor to headset, but it doesn't matter if I turn it to surround or stereo.

I don't have a problem with any other game, so unfortunately, it must be an issue with Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax.

I really liked Dungeon Siege III!  I even went ahead and played through it multiple times and got all 1,000 GamerScore on 360.  About 8 or so of my friends were constantly playing it on Live and I had some really fun 4 player co-op sessions, for hours on end.

It's not the best game in the world, but it's worth a good 30 hours or so of good times.  My only real complaint is with the camera in co-op.  Everything else is just minor issues, which to me, some people are making them seem more major than they really are... but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

@kingzetta
:  If you need any help, and got the game on 360, I'd be more than happy to pop the game in again to help you out.  Makai Kingdom was an awesome game! :p

That's right!  Arc System Works was probably able to finally buy back the Guilty Gear trademark from Sammy/SEGA, with all that much deserved BlazBlue money they hopefully raked-in! :D

Man, I just simply cannot wait to see a new HD Guilty Gear... or heck, maybe even a Guilty Gear X BlazBlue! :O

Here's the article over on Siliconera, if anyone's interested:  http://www.siliconera.com/2011/05/24/arc-system-works-now-owns-the-rights-to-guilty-gear/

What do you guys think will come of this?  Are you excited or what?

So, I just got back from playing Disgaea 4, Cave Story 3DS, and Bleach: Soul Resurrection (not yet in Giant Bomb's database) at NIS America's May Press Event 2011.  Along with seeing a bunch of other recently announced games being localized for the U.S., like Atelier Totori and ClaDun x2 (again, not in Giant Bomb's database yet).
Anyway, if anyone's interested, below are a few short videos of me playing Disgaea 4 in English .  Just ignore the fact that I was being a total weirdo at the beginning, 'cause I didn't know that I was being filmed at first :p

I also took a bunch of pictures... maybe I'll post those later, but mostly all the important gaming stuff has probably hit the internet already.

Here's the link to the new trailer too!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soH8jG_gfGQ.  Cheers!

So if you want to get this achievement you have to put in 27 days of playing time. This might be the wackiest achievement I have ever seen! Is anyone going to actually attempt to get this, anyone got any examples of any achievements that a worse? I figure some people would be willing to just leave their xbox running for the 27 days required but they also have to match the other requirements as well. I know there are some insane achievements out there but this just seems extra krazy to me.
"
It's only 13.5 days because Tag Mode works for 2 characters at once.  Even when a character is tagged-out, his/her play timer still goes up.

So, play lots of Tag to cut this time in half! :)

I made this post here:   http://www.giantbomb.com/mortal-kombat/61-25042/what-button-config-are-you-using-on-the-te-stick/35-492521/

I went to StarBase Arcade last week and there was like 30+ dudes there playing/streaming.  Some of them were iPlayWinner.com guys and other pros (NorCal players @ StarBase/Keystone/SFSU/iPlayWinner).  I polled a few of them and it seems like this is the way that most of them have their buttons set:

F.P     BLOCK     B.P    THROW
F.K    STANCE   B.K     TAG

So, this is the in-depth break-down:
   X = Front Punch (F.P)
   Y = Block
   A = Front Kick (F.K)
   B = Stance Change
RB = Back Punch (B.P)
RT = Back Kick (B.K)
LB = Throw
LT = Tag

For PS3 (X = Square, Y = Triangle, A = X, B = Circle, Bumpers = R1/L1, Triggers = R2/L2).

A couple of them did switch their Block and Stance buttons though, but everything else is the same.

I've been using mine like this ever since and loving it.  My middle finger (strongest finger) is mostly riding that Block button this way :)

It's nice too, because you can also easily press both Front (Punch+Kick) for a Throw, both Block + Stance for X-Ray, or both Back (Punch+Kick) for a Tag.

Beyond that, a lot of them were not happy that MK (2011) isn't Tournament Grade in it's current state and needs a patch, because of the lack of Presents + Button Config during Player Select/Matches.

Hope that helps!

@KarlHungus: Lol, I guess I can't read :p  "TE" to me only means 1 thing... MadCatz Capcom TE FightSticks.  Sorry about that.

BUT, why is this even a question in the first place?  The MK TE is already setup perfectly and there is no need to change it (supposedly).  I guess   Warchief's problem is with Throws/Tags.  For that, just use both Front buttons and/or both Back buttons.  For X-Rays, you can just tap all Kicks + Block to do it on the MK TE easily.
