I am not trying to stir up a controversy. It already is one. And the Bible's point of views in this matter should be taken seriously instead of a joke. You may think it's OK to have all that stuff in media, but I don't, due to the context of which the situation rises and what it's effects are. And I suggest you re-evaluate how you control yourself in these places, especially saying that you read a Bible. You set an example for others. How about you actually stand up for the beliefs of Christianity and the Bible? Just because it's cool to hate on religion now doesn't mean you have to follow it. Anyway, this got ugly real fast. I never said kids shouldn't be taught about it, I said it shouldn't be promoted as a cool thing, which believe it or not was the topic of this thread. Was I misunderstood? Those things are pretty different. Anyway, while in the topic of education, the parents need to teach their kids about it before they hear it as hear-say from other kids. If they are taught a more sophisticated view of it before hearing the "cool" version of it, it will help a lot. The media has to help out with this as well, because they act as a kid's friends as well, especially in movies and videogames. If they learn about it in a videogame before they hear it from their parents, then it's the same problem all over again! "

You say that selling video with games is the medias fault but knives being used to kill people is the buyers fault? Surely there both the childs fault? The child knows that the game has sex in, so he shouldnt get it, the kid knows what the knives can do as well.
You say sex is against the bible but so is killing yet you see tons of games with violence in.
The gaming industry is a weird one, Due to things like sex, now im not saying 'SEX SHOULD BE IN ALL GAMES YEAH MAN GO PASS ME A BEER' or anything like that all im saying is that we allow people being chopped in half ( either downwards of sideways, look for Prototype) we allow women to be hit( Not really that big but still) Use of bad langauge( I.e **** and **** and ***** And****, stars are terrible langauge ;) ) And if it has some of those then it is stuck with an 18 Sticker and shipped out. But lets say I put a Naked woman in my game in a sligtly revealing position? Either one or two things would happen, It would either be hidden away where very few people would find it, or they would shut the whole project down. But why?
I can understand the religous point of view where some people cant watch that kinda thing, but why not make a button that like phased that bit out.
Then youve got the But for children thing. Hmmm I accept that a ten year old should not watch that kinda thing, but thats why the 18 is there isnt it? Also you can get married at 16 in the U.K with your parents aprroval but sex in big games... thats a big no. You can legally drink in your garden a beer as long as their is a responsible adult around in the U.K at 5.... 5!!!! But sex in games is a big no.
Well pretty much its impossible to tell what will happen to anything, as anything could happen so really there is no real answer, someone will get it right no doubt but it will be impossible to tell whether they got it right and such and thus making them crazy. :)

Edit: What makes me laugh though is that they say for some countries, You defied the commandments, but I highly doubt any can speak hebrew and know the exact translation of the commmandmants or can speak latin and get it from there, and then I highly doubt they have read all 253(Somthing like that) Commandments, as there is not just 10(Depends which bible), The they say that but one of the famous 10 commanments is do not Idolize, but isnt that whats done which jesus? Theres statues and pictures of him. So it is pretty dumb.
