Before I start, let me say that I myself have not had any problems with Gamestop.  It's the only place where I live that deals in used games, so it can be a lifesaver when I want to pick up some old PS2 games.  I've found Zone of the Enders, ICO, and Godhand all at a local Gamestop and for pretty reasonable prices, since they're fairly old.

That being said, I refuse to trade my games in to Gamestop.  They rip you off.  They buy back games for about a third of the price that they immediatly turn around and sell them for, possibly to the person standing right behind you in line.  Also, yes, some employees will bug you to preorder a game, or buy a used one instead of a new one.  That is an annoyance, but it doesn't happen to frequently at the local Gamestop.  However, Nate, you asked why people dislike Gamestop.  I don't understand why you ask people why they dislike the store, and then instantly turn around and critisize people's reasons as to why, citing your own personal experiences.  Not all Gamestops are exactly like yours, and sometimes strings of questions DO frustrate people when they just want to pick up a game.  That's a legitimate reason to dislike the store.

I had the same problem until I upgraded to the newest version of Flash Player.
