If it hasn't already been said....Canadians have small Wii's with limited functionality.

This looks cool, but Nintendo can keep it. It's too gimped to be worth anything. Then, buy a game and it's back up to $150, which is where it's at now in many places plus with a couple of cool games.

I'm a little worn out by all the BS hype by gamers and the industry this time. The Wii U is not sold out at all. Of the 17 Wal-Marts in my area, only 2 were sold out. The day after Black Friday I walked into a Wal-Mart and grabbed one. Tons of shoppers (families) hanging around and none wanted the system.

I WISH they sold out like crazy, I don't have an ax to grind. Just sayin...They ain't sold out, peoples.

From K-I-S-S-I-N-G in a tree with Nintendo to now being at what must be the brink of bankruptcy....Oh how the mighty have fallen.

What a stinking mess. Still can't believe they loaned a whole 75 million dollars to a feeble 38 Studios. What in the world were they thinking.

This was one of my favorite games back in the day. But how is there any way that this revival won't suck?

Meh. The shine has worn off the DLC for me since it's been out yet I can't play. Exclusives may help developers, but they're a slap in the face to fans. I'd venture a guess that Bethesda didn't even need Microsoft's money for the exclusive since the game did so well.

I like the idea of developers protecting the integrity of their IP by retaining ownership. However, I would've liked a little more Limbo if done the right way. It's a neato game, but very short and there's much more that could be done with it.

Oh well. At least these guys are still out there making games.

@wilsonk said:

This is garbage, if i know how stupid Microsofts patching system is then Phil Fish sure as hell should and if he wasn't happy with it he shouldn't have sold people a game he was going to patch once or twice and then abandon.

Agreed. Sounds like so-called indie Phil Fish going to fit in with big business quite nicely. That's where he always belonged.

For Fish to try to pass the blame onto Microsoft is super lame. The guy went into XBLA exclusivity knowing about the costs of patching. If you had no intention of paying them or negotiating relief into the contract then why did you do it...Unless you didn't give a shit about customers and to some extent the integrity of your work.

Surely, it sounds like a terrible business model to charge devs for trying to remedy flaws, but then Fish had how many years to polish this game if he didn't want to pay for patches. Lame situation of business pointing the finger and customers getting screwed.
