Obviously the layoffs part of this news is depressing, but I am personally very happy that Dark Millenium is becoming a single-player game. I am not a fan of MMOs, but I do really like the Warhammer 40k universe, so I am happy that I will get to play this game now.
$15 seems a little pricey for DLC to me. But I suppose it depends on how long and good the content is. If it is going to be 5 extra hours of awesome game then that is a pretty good deal. If it is just a couple of hours of decent game then I might have to wait until some kind of sale or Playstation Plus discount.
This is all but confirmation that the rumours of a 3DS redesign are true. That will probably be announced soon and released next year and this attachment is just so that people who have already bought a 3DS can play future games that require 2 slide pads.
I am pretty interested in Bloodrayne: Betrayal, but other than that none of these games are particularly interesting. This is only the first year of the promotion though, so hopefully subsequent years will see better games.
I am rather surprised that Killzone 2 was not nominated in the "Best Graphics" award. For my money that is the only game to come out this year that really rivals Uncharted 2.
