With so many games sitting in my wardrobe waiting to be played I have this urge to get in there and play them all but I need to choose a short game I can enjoy and finish quickly before I go away on Thursday.. I've decided either dead space and prince of Persia. Although after watching the Civilisation 5 video feature, I kinda want to play some RTS as I don't really play much games on the PC.
I brought watchmen off PSN yesterday and after I found out that the Playstation has a parental control PIN which I didn't know and looked through the internet for the master code. I eventually sat down and watched the film to find out that it isn't so much an action packed super-hero film, but more a dark, violent, conspiracy film, which I really enjoyed. The film surprised me at its dark nature and violent, action scenes and its story hooked me through the experience until the end. I have know intention on buying the prequel games which can be found on PSN and XBL. The film lasted about 2 hours 30. I think it was a good break from my marathon run of God of War III, which I'm amazed at it's story and twists.
I have a 4 day weekend and are intending too blaze through the recently brought God of war 3 and X-Men Wolverine Origins. I have started God of war 3 and it is amazing, I played an hour so far, and I'm gob-smacked that the graphics are that good. The frame rate keeps up, the game-play is just like all other god of war games have been (very mashy with a hint of technique) and the story is good. Kratos looks super bad-ass and looking to do a bad thing (hopefully) . I'm also hoping to (for the first time) buy a film and serious PSN game from the Play-station store but with so many options I'm going through the giant bomb site and videos to find one I like. It's a shame that PSN doesn't do T.V shows like heroes or Spartacus. I'd love to buy a T.V Series like that.
First Blog entry... Whoooop! Erm.. well.. it's the 7th June 2010 and I have just pulled myself away from Modern warfare 2. I have it in my head that I wanna prestige before the next call of Duty game. Don't ask why, it's just a little personal goal of mine. I tend to listen to the Giant Bombcasts when I play Modern warfare 2. Its something about listening to Ryan, Jeff, Brad and Vinny while playing a multiplayer game that is cool to me. Almost relaxing. There jokes, gaming knowledge and (what sound like) amazing night outs, all relaxe me while I attempt to massacre people in a hectic multiplayer game.
This has been my first Blog. Thank you for reading.
