It doesn't matter what review scores a game receives; We've seen this happen in the past enough times that everyone should have been aware that it would happen with Sim City. Remember the Diablo 3 release? Not to mention EA is not the most reliable, or customer friendly publisher. People need to learn to be patient; wait a week or two after release before you slap down $60. If you purchase a game on release day based on one or two reviews, it's your own fault if you fall prey to issues such as this. I was really looking forward to this game, but after reading some reviews, and seeing the nonsense with the servers, I am glad I exercised some patience.

It is a direct reflection of their character; if they are willing to cheat on their wife (who they swore to honor), there is no reason to believe that they will stand by their political word.

No need for the i7 if you are intending to use the machine for gaming; the i5 is perfect for gaming, and it'll save you some cash to spend on other components. Soundcards are totally unnecessary these days, most motherboards come with sufficient on-board sound. You can use a site like this http://pcpartpicker.com/ to help do some more research, and read up on reviews.

I don't see any reason to, as others have stated; I have already spent $60 on the game. I could possibly lose interest in the game in a month or so. I have purchased many other MMO's, and I usually only last the first month (if that).

My MMO graveyard: Rift, TERA, SWTOR, WoW, Guild Wars, DC Universe

@Bourbon_Warrior, @jacksmedulla: You missed my point entirely, you don't have to join the infantry. You can be a desk jockey in the military and reap the benefits of the GI Bill. Not to mention, while you're in you'll receive full medical and dental for you, your spouse and kids if you have them. There are 9-5 jobs in the military; you run some PT, sit behind a desk for a few hours, then go home and have weekends off. Get free meals, free place to live, medical/dental as previously mentioned. You won't get that good of a deal from any other job out there. You guys have seriously misunderstood the point of my post; I'm trying to tell this kid what to expect if he goes into the infantry, I'm not sugar-coating it like the recruiters will. I'm making sure that he knows exactly what is going to happen, and to be damn certain that this is what he wants. I was also trying to persuade him to get a desk job in the military, thereby avoiding combat entirely and still get the same benefits.

Also, I don't agree with the wars. It was my time in Iraq, working with the Iraqi police and interacting with the civilians that made me realize how fucked up that war really is.

Not sure what you can do to ensure enlistment. However, I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps infantry (0311) and I do not regret it at all. Don't listen to the naysayers that have no military experience, their advice is worthless. Except when they tell you to make certain that infantry is what you want to do; it's tough, you will be training your ass off, and you WILL go to Afghanistan, and you WILL see friends die, get shot, become amputees. You will likely take another persons life; Afghanistan is no joke. Physical readiness is easy, but it's not easy to prepare mentally for the things I've listed. There is even the chance that you will lose limbs or die, so make absolutely certain that this is what you want. The advice for joining the Air Force is not bad advice; they have a lot more money allotted, you can gain rank fast, and you can gain "real world" experience. Also, along with the Army, the Marines aren't accepting a lot of people right now, their numbers are high. Even experienced, decorated NCO's are being denied re-enlistment. It's a tough time to get in to the infantry, as crazy as that may sound.

Being Marine infantry is easily the greatest thing I've done with my life, and on top of that I am now going to school for free (and getting paid) while I watch friends struggle with student loan debt. Good luck to you.

@ShadowSkill11: It's not odd at all. If he already has a 360 with a bunch of games, it would be silly to purchase games for the PS3 that he already owns on the 360. The main reason to own multiple consoles is to be able to play the exclusives, or buy the version that plays best on a particular console.

Anyways, I enjoyed the InFamous games, and Uncharted 2 (the only Uncharted I've played)
